My entire family has used Stuber Agency for our HOI, Condo, and Auto insurance for over 15 years. Every year it was the same, I had to proactively call and have them shop around to see if they can lower our policy premiums since it kept increasing. They were always able to, but not without me having to reach out. Fine, whatever saves us money at this point.
I sold my condo last week (7/15/24) and emailed asking them to cancel my condo insurance, they canceled my condo AND auto insurance without informing me until 7/22/24. I had been driving without coverage due to their error. Their employee Liz called me that morning and told me she didn't realize my policy was bundled and that she made a mistake and will fix it. By 3pm that same day, I receive emails, calls and text from Eric who pretty much tried to cover themselves and blame the carrier for cancelling my auto policy and not being able to reinstate it. There was zero accountability. Your employee already told me she made the mistake, why lie and now blame it on someone else and tell me there's nothing you can do. God forbid I got in an accident with my toddler in the car. Needless to say, I switched to another agent. read more
