I have been informed that the teacher has been yelling at students, including screaming very close to children's ears. This behavior is causing children to feel frightened and uncomfortable in the classroom. Most concerning to me is that my child is now becoming afraid to go to school and is scared of being in this teacher's class. I understand that teachers need to maintain classroom discipline and correct inappropriate behavior. However, I believe discipline should be handled in a calm, respectful, and age-appropriate manner. Young children should feel safe, supported, and comfortable at school--not afraid of their teacher. I respectfully ask the school to look into this situation promptly, speak with the students and teacher as appropriate, and take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that the classroom remains a safe and positive environment for the children. I would also appreciate a meeting with the appropriate school administrator to discuss my concerns and understand what actions will be taken to protect the students' well-being. Beyond that, our experience has been incredibly disappointing. There is a blatant culture of favoritism here. If you are willing to make large, extra donations on top of tuition, your child will be prioritized and supported. If you do not make these donations, you will absolutely feel the discrimination. It is highly frustrating to experience this when we already pay $1,200 to $1,300 a month in tuition. Even my 4-year-old noticed the difference, feeling left out because other kids were clearly receiving more attention and support. For the amount of tuition they charge, the programs are remarkably cheap. They do not invest back into the children's development, and there is a complete lack of modern technology or learning resources. Prospective parents should also know that the school uses faith as a marketing tool. They constantly invoke religion, Jesus Christ, and Saint Mary to attract families, but the actual quality and environment of their programs do not reflect Christian values at all. If we had known this from the start, we would have never enrolled our child here. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want an inclusive, high-quality environment for your child.

Best of luck to the other students at that school. I truly hope this teacher is just one bad apple in the bunch. UPDATE: I just got an update from a friend that his son is going to ASA. It seems that all the rejected bullies from Chamlian School and other schools end up at ASA. What a shame--at $900 a month, you're adding a problematic and psychological challenge to the entire school environment. Hopefully, they will get new management that focuses more on children's success than on financial gain. I honestly believe ASA needs new leadership to address this issue. It's such a waste to see a school fall this low, especially when both of my sisters graduated from the same establishment years ago.
