My 6 year old absolutely loves coming here. He can bring his own material or it is provided and he is very proud of how much he's learned. Almost 2 years in & I'm amazed at how far my daughter has come with reading and writing because of the immense support she gets from Sylvan. Her reading is more fluid and she's getting more confident about her writing. She's been regularly going 3-4 sessions a week and she's now surpassed her grade level! It is a great learning experience and recommend if you have kids with trouble learning

I messaged Sylan learning on the website around 7pm one night, my son has been struggling in school and I was a bit panicked, I didn't expect a response until the following day. Instead I got a call about 30 minutes after I sent the message. The lady who called was really attentive and had some interesting insights so I decided to schedule the consultation. I was skeptical but really felt I needed to try something. I met with Mr. Jay & Surhan, and I immediately liked them both and felt it was worth a try. In the six weeks my son has been attending tutoring sessions I have seen steady progress from refusing to read anything ever to casually reading things all the time. It's been a great relief. I was worried he would really fight going but for the most part he seems to love it. There's been a couple of tough days but that is rare. I think they do a really good job of keeping the kids engaged and enjoying the process. My son has ADHD and dyslexia while they don't offer specialized tutoring for those issues the instructors have done a wonderful job working with my son's special needs. Every child is so different but I really recommend meeting with the team at Sylvan in Glendale to meet Surhan and Mr. Jay and see the classroom to see if it's a good fit for your child. My son was falling behind on reading at school because of COVID. I was looking for tutoring or reading services for him and stumbled upon this. After reading the reviews, I decided to try it out! I'm glad I did because it has really helped him catch up in reading at school. We are six months in and I have seen an improvement. I have had such a GREAT experience! I have two daughter who attend twice a week, the drastic change I see in their grades is amazing!
