We hired Vanessa as the photographer for our wedding in October 2022. As of May 2024, all we have…read morereceived is a handful of proofs that we received immediately after the wedding. It has been 20 months and despite multiple attempts to contact Vanessa and provide opportunities to resolve her failure to deliver on our contract (such as the clause regarding selling the services to another contractor in the event she can't deliver), she has not responded to any messages. However, during that same time, she posted numerous times on instagram to all of her clients/followers and has recently been showing posts about new client photo shoots all over the world. Yet here we are, no photos, money gone, and no communication. She is essentially another one of these social media business types, who is all show and does not treat her paying clients, who trusted her with one of life's most precious memories, with the respect or dignity of communication and resolution. Instead she just pretends like we don't exist and moves on. If you care about actually getting your photos and the memories of these special occasions in your life, don't hire her!

I am honestly so sad that I have to write this but I want to share my story with everyone so that…read morehopefully people will learn from my mistake. I was recommended VHP by my wedding planner who had said she'd worked with her multiple times in the past and was great! With the package we got - it even gave us an extra photographer for part of our day. I was ecstatic and after that had an initial call and both my partner and I loved her and hired her within the same week as our call. With our package, we received a free engagement session in LV and she made it to that, however..we did have to bug her to receive the final deliverables (she was a few weeks late past the due date) since we wanted to use it for our wedding guestbook. Red flag #1. On to the wedding day - She was great and helped the day run smoothly trying to capture everything..however, the extra photographer that was promised didn't show (they didn't tell me until after because they figured it was best so fair enough) but now I'm even questioning that even if it was promised that this person even existed in the first place. But, that is my personal opinion. We received 30 sneaks 4 days after the wedding, and then we're supposed to receive the online gallery with final deliverables within 8 weeks. Our wedding was mid August 2022. Since after the expected due date, I have been consistently following up (politely but consistently) via text, email, responding to socials, and now writing a review in hopes of an update or response. It seems that I'm not alone in this situation. She's currently gone on a hiatus due to personal reasons which I respect and I hope she does heal fully and my heart goes out to her - BUT at the end of the day. This is a business, you're expected to communicate and deliver. If you don't have enough time, hire help. If you will miss the due dates due to sickness, personal issues, etc...COMMUNICATE. Clients are understanding (most are), but you need to let us know what's going on with our photos and status updates. You are holding on to our precious memories!!! Our once in a lifetime day. We have given you money in exchange for a service to which has not been competed. So we all need answers. Just COMMUNICATE please. Write us back and let us know that you received our messages. SOMETHING. To this day, now in 2023, I still only have 30 images only and nothing else. It pains me everyday. To end, I want to say that Vanessa is a fun, sweet person with a great personality who also happens to be a very talented photographer. However, listening to other people's horror stories, as well as my own - I cannot and will not ever recommend her to any future clients so please to anyone reading this, if you are planning to use Vanessa for your wedding photos - just keep all of these collective reviews on the back of your mind as she will be photographing one of the most important days of your life.

I'm Jessica and I work in HR, a wife, a mom to three now adults and a crazy dog. My daily life…read moreconsists of work and home life with very little me time. In my free time I crochet, read, relax with music therapy, collect things that I shouldn't collect and spending time just chilling. Honestly I don't feel beautiful or sexy on a daily basis. I hear it from others but I don't nessecarily believe it. However when I DO feel beautiful, it's in weird spur of the moment times. If there are occasions to get dressed up, then of course I feel empowered and feel sexy. I wanted to do something for me! I always do for others and putting them before myself for as long as I could remember. I needed my own self validation that I am this woman and that I am my own future. On a whim, I entered in the contest and won. Best thing I could of done! It was time for me and no one else! I was a nervous wreck at first. I didn't know how hair and makeup was gonna look... I'm a tomboy lol.... If the outfits I had were gonna work......But hair and makeup came out FABULOUS!!!!! After that it was time for photos. I can make things awkward on purpose and I didn't want the photos to come off as that. Once the first few photos were taken, the nervousness went away and felt empowered. The whole process of the day was easy and simple. I never wanted to cancel as I just wanted to do it and see th final outcome and I'm glad I did. The entire process for me was easy, simple, not rushed or felt like I was obligated to do it or purchase anything. From the first few calls of the consults, I asked all the questions I had and was given all the answers and then some. About time the session came, I was ready to go! Nervous but excited. As I said previously, hair and makeup was fabulous! I didn't recognize myself! I was in awe! The support system was incredible as they made sure I was comfortable with each step till the reveal of the shoot. And I still recognize myself in them lol. The whole day was my favorite! Since I've never pampered myself or didn't anything like this, everything that was done, takes the cake! Taking all of the photos and seeing myself on screen through a lens- I didn't even realize it was me at first but once I did I was in a good shock. 7. Did you feel nervous before the session and what helped you ease into the session? I did feel nervous but it went away after a while. It wasnt because I was in a room with someone else in lingerie. I think it was because I got into my own head and over thinking most of it. The photographer was amazing at everything and made me feel myself while validating everything that was going on. We were vibing together which made it more enjoyable. I felt full blown empowered. I felt like I'm the force of nature that has been hiding for so long. Something unleashed inside of me that has been hidden for so long. The confidence exploded and is out in full force. For me, it was finding the inner me that was put away for so long and now she's out!!! I would definitely do it again! I think all if not most women needs to at least do something like this once in life. There is something about having a team behind you, that gives 100% of making you feel good, confident, empowered, fierce, beautiful, sexy - because you are all of those things!! The team at Boiling Point Boudoir is exquisite! Very professional, makes you feel like you matter and puts you at ease. From start to finish, they were there either by call, text, email, etc. if you're on the fence, that's fine... but put yourself first this one time- you won't regrets it!!!

Review of best outfits and any additional props. The professionalism of set, employees and location were unmatched. The photos were phenomenal with variation of posing. I also cannot say enough about the beauty of the wings. Now it was time to look at the photos that were just taken. The suspense and joy to know that was me. No AI photo but my mannerism, complexion and body. I'm so freaking proud of me. These images will last to see over and over again. How great is that! Pricing was also reviewed again everything all up front. Everything and more than I expected, and service with a smile. Now I'm just waiting for the pieces I've chosen to be delivered. Yay!

Then when we had to move the scheduled date because of a change in state playoffs, he was understanding and again accommodating on the next date. He was extra proactive when it looked like our rescheduled date might get rained out. He was extremely professional, worked well with two boys that may not always smile, captured the best angles of our backyard and sunset glow, and posed us all in a way that was natural and flattering. Afterwards, he quickly called to schedule a session to see the photos. I understand why he does not do it over the internet. I know that people may have the knowledge to take screen captures and remove watermarks. While I would not do this, he needs to protect his work. He was patient while we picked from his expertly pre-edited selections, but also let me look over the whole lot to make sure there was nothing I liked better. He may not be the rock bottom cheapest but you get what you pay for. Our last photosession was with such a photographer -not Andrew. It all seemed to be going as all photo sessions in the past. Then weeks later we get photos that were we were not posed well, lightening was not ideal, and the composition of the photo was obviously not considered. These make me sad everytime I look at them because I know I will not get that moment back in our kids' lives. I know Andrew's photos will bring me joy for all my years to come of this last moment before my oldest is technically an adult. I can't wait to get them hung on the wall. Bottom line, if you want visual memory you will cherish forever, then hire Andrew.
