I cannot write enough about how much we loved Studio 220 and our photographer Emily! (Assistant Jazmin). We entrusted Studio 220 to shoot both our engagement photos and wedding photos. Emily went above and beyond our expectations with both our engagement shoot and our wedding photos. The thing I loved most about Emily was her laid back personality. Getting all the photos taken can be stressful, and she made it all flawless, smooth and she shot beautifully. I couldn't believe how many wedding photos I received and she got them to me so FAST! I believe a sneak peak was on Facebook almost 2 weeks after and I received the rest shortly after. I was so impressed and happy with how fast I could relive the day. Emily and Studio 220 was professional in their communication, promptness, editing, shooting, everything. Previously, our engagement photos were scheduled for a day that turned out to have horrible weather. Emily called us in the morning and gave us the option to reschedule or go with the shoot. She wasn't pressuring us either way, she was truly calling because she cares about her work and wanted us to have the best experience possible. We ended up deciding to reschedule, and it was very easy and we had them done the next week. It was a much nicer day (well as nice as it gets during a Minnesota winter). When choosing a location, my husband and I were torn on where to go. Emily suggested 3-4 locations with reasoning on why its good to shoot there which was super helpful. I've had a lot of friends that never met with their photographer before the wedding and are only allowed communication through email. This is not the case with Studio 220. Emily met with us 2 weeks prior to go over questions, details, the timeline and everything. It was a relief to have someone go through this journey with us who took the time to care about us as a couple and truly get to know us. She helped us creating the shot list and a realistic timeline of what should happen. She also helped us with making decisions about what to shoot (should we start in the morning with getting ready pictures, or have pictures of guests dancing). This made the whole process so much more enjoyable. Studio 220 is the best value out there! You get a personalized experience, a reasonable cost and experienced photographers. Amazing service and wonderful pictures. We recently got married on July 24th, 2015. Studio 220 is a top notch local photography company! Allie, their event manager, is awesome. As a very detailed person, I like to know the "process". I really appreciated Allie's time to help me understand the photography process and our options. It's great to work with a company who replies quickly and excels in customer service. It felt like we had a great friend working on our behalf. We elected the photobooth option. What a great idea. Our guests loved it. And the 220 staff managing the booth made our guest experience wonderful. We keep hearing great comments from our guests about the photobooth, the pictures, and the fun costumes. Thank you! Our photographer, Anatoliy, was spot on. We knew during our engagement sessions, he was the right fit. We clicked, we had fun, and it was great to have him capture our moments. Anatoliy's style was a perfect match for us. I wanted someone who would provide guidance during the photography session. He explained why he's taking those shots, how, and what he's trying to capture. It was great to have a blend of in-the moment shots and beautiful planned shots. Our wedding pictures turned out absolutely amazing. I definitely looked more handsome than normal. We had a big family and wedding party and he facilitated the logistics flawlessly. Anatoliy's ability to capture the softer side and the formal side of photography really fit us well. From getting ready to the first sight pictures, from formal family and wedding party pictures, to social hour pics. The ceremony pics and after sunset pics truly turned out amazing. Cannot say enough amazing things about this studio and their photographers!! First of all, Dana (the office/studio manager)... what a professional, communicative, and kind person. She went above and beyond to communicate with us and was very quick to respond to our needs. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and she helped us in navigating all of the changes. On what was supposed to be our wedding day, the studio put together a slide show of our engagement pictures with some sweet words of encouragement and support. This studio cares whole heartedly about their couples. The Photographers (multiple): Engagement: Bree was amazing! Not only was she sweet and kind but captured our love in our fall engagement session. We were unfortunately unable to use her for our actual wedding day as the date we postponed to was already spoken for. BUT the studio took great care of use and offered several replacement photographers for the wedding day. WEDDING: Corinna, wow, another kind sweet soul. She also captured our love perfectly on the day of our wedding. Her assistant (HIGHLY recommend two shooters on your big day, btw) was amazing as well. I feel bad as I don't remember her name, I think it was Nicole. Between the two of them we got many amazing pictures that we will cherish forever. Both of these ladies were extremely easy and flexible all wedding day (as of course we had more bumps on our big day besides COVID). We got our photographs back earlier than the deadline they gave us. Highly recommend this studio as they were responsive, kind, and extremely reasonably priced. Joan was our photographer and we were head over heels from the beginning, as we had to reschedule our engagement pictures due to a family emergency. The first time we met face to face, she immediately asked for an update on that family member before we even began to speak about photos. Her care about your desires as a couple, and your lives individually and together, shows in her photography but also in the relationship we formed over the months we worked together. The day of the wedding, she was accompanied by Kathleen and Andrew and we got rave reviews from all family members and wedding party members on their organization and personalities. Our images showed up less than three weeks after our wedding and we were FLOORED! Studio 220 did our family photo session as well as head shots! They were super impressive with how quickly the shoot went! We had 2 outfit changes with 3 different locations in an hour and a half AND I have 3 boys, so you can imagine what a miracle that timing is! I loved how flexible the photographer was when my 7 year old pitched a fit! She just moved on to photograph the other 2! Our images are THE BEST we've ever had! She caught the most beautiful un-posed moments! It's the REAL us-just prettier! We won't use anyone else! Studio 220 did a fabulous job! I can't wait to do our sitting where she'll even help us figure out where in our house to put the photos along with size! I would never have time to figure that out on my own! read more

LOVED working with Studio 220!! We did a family portrait/maternity session with Studio 220 and could not have been happier with the results! We have two young boys and they were able to capture their personalities perfectly! They were able to make it relaxed and enjoyable for all of us (not easy with two young boys for 1.5 hours in the evening!!) This allowed them to capture natural, candid shots which was exactly what I was hoping for! They even did multiple locations (at home and various locations throughout Excelsior) and two different outfits - giving us a variety of great photographs to choose from :) Would recommend Studio 220 to anyone looking for a photographer for family portraits! read more

Studio 220 Photography is seriously AMAZING! We had them do our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. Our photographers went above and beyond--collecting info on the photos that we wanted (before the day), showing up early so that they'd be all ready to start shooting on time, and making us feel so comfortable throughout the day. We aren't naturally posey people and don't usually photograph too well but I'm in love with our pictures. We just received our photos from Studio 220 and absolutely love them! Aaron and Murphy were our photographers, they did an amazing job of capturing all of the sentiment around our wedding.
