They always work with my schedule and my stylist is always on time with my appointments. I've been going to Ashley S. for years and I cannot say enough great things about her! She is so great at what she does and I'm always happy when I leave the salon. I've also been to Jessica H. and Cianna K. on occasion and they were both fantastic as well! I don't often buy products from the salon but they do have a really large selection of good quality products. I have purchased the Bumble thickening shampoo/conditioner and the thickening spray - which I loved! The prices are based upon the services and the experience level of the stylist. (All of the reviews were verified 5 stars, which was kinda fishy in my opinion.) I found this local salon through Strands For Trans. I was scheduled with Stephanie Brown for my haircut. I got a mohawk that I had intended to slick back with product. The mohawk was supposed to go down the back of my head, but veered off to the right and care wasn't taken to properly shave off hair next to the mohawk. I have to wear my hair messy to cover up the uneven shave. Maybe the back looks like that on purpose? I don't see the vision. And, it's too short to do much for the back. I don't think I'm coming back... 1 star for the botched look. (I think I just have horrible luck because even normal haircuts never look good.)

Everyone seemed to be booked for the day and then I walk in here and found I'd be next in line after the lady currently getting her hair cut. When it was my turn, I got my hair shampooed and conditioned before the cut. She asked if I had a picture of what I wanted, and I didn't but tried to explain. She pulled it a picture book and pointed at a hair style and I said yes. At first, the lady scared the life out of me when she started cutting so much hair off. I almost cried. I just needed a trim at the back and here she was cutting inches. I could feel so much of my hair being butchered off my head. I have a lot of hair, and pretty thick at that. I was preparing myself to be disappointed and pretty irked, and bough I couldn't find my voice to speak up. I just watched and felt. And then I started seeing her near-finished result and the fear instantaneously lifted. I liked,no, loved what I was seeing at the corner of my eyes. It was exactly the hairstyle I had wanted long before I got the first cut to shape my hair into an A-frame cut. The shock of getting inches of hair cut off dissipated and I couldn't help but smile and laugh at my absurdity. I love the end result!

I've been there multiple times myself and my tattoos and piercings are wonderful. The only issue is that for her industrial piercing (which is two piercings), they used just one needle. From what I understand, needles are meant to be single-use per piercing, so that was a little concerning. Overall still a good experience, but that's something I think could be improved.
