She helped me decide on two different shapes, and absolutely nailed the one I chose. I don't know how she did it- but the waxing itself didn't hurt, and I wasn't left with what normally looks like hot pink eyeshadow. On top of all, she is super cool, played awesome music and had me in and out! Along with the waxing, Jade, the salon owner, has been doing my hair for a few years now. She always leaves my hair looking so amazing and feeling/looking healthier than ever. From the hair treatments, to the color and cut, to the styling, she does a great job and makes 4 hours feel like 45 minutes. Jade is a great conversationalist and I always have the most fun. Top Knot Hair Co. itself has the best aesthetic, and is decorated so beautifully! I am ALWAYS so blown away when I leave here.

My visit: I came in for a cut and partial highlight because the prices seemed on point, the salon looked beautiful and inviting, and I could book an appointment with multiple stylists. I chose Marissa, because she had some openings on a day I had off of work. Marissa did an amazing job on my color and highlight. She was so personable and friendly, and listed to exactly what I wanted, and what my concerns were right at the beginning. She understood precisely what I was going for and NAILED IT with the color. I chickened out on the haircut after all, but I would definitely trust her to cut my hair in the future. The products used were incredible, smelled great and did not leave smells on my hair after the highlights were done. The look is so natural to me and left me feeling confident. Mission even offers you a 10 dollar reward on your next service and some product discounts when you review on Yelp or Vagaro or Google. I highly recommend Mission and Marissa; I will be back when my highlights need freshened up.

My hair is super black and I've always had brassy tones and she is able to get me super ashy blonde. Prices are extremely reasonable compared to ulta/salon lofts/ studio elements of what I was paying before (sometimes even cheaper). But regardless, I've never been able to get in and out of the salon in 2-2.5 hours for my difficult hair and Taelor delivers! The receptionists and everyone is so friendly, plus they carry Oribe and Unite products. They recycle everything they use and provide referral discounts too.

I have colored my own hair for decades but I can't see so well anymore and thought I'd treat myself. I had THE BEST time in her chair! She is very professional and personable. I typically only get gel on my toes but was willing to settle because my daughter had an appointment at the same time and we were told only one of us could get "gel." She's going on spring break so I wanted her to have that appointment. The only reason for 4 stars is the price. You pay for the quiet, pedicure area spa setting. The young lady (I believe her name is Leah) who I believe is a receptionist or something has one of the worst attitudes I've ever witness from an employee, especially at a business that claims to give guests a "premium" experience at a premium price! This young lady was not only rude to me, but extremely dismissive. She cared more about getting me out of the way than my guest experience so she could go back to gossiping with the others. My recommendation is to listen to my experience and the experience of others who have left reviews and get rid of some of those bad apples.

After the barber shop downtown closed, I had a hard time getting my hair cut anywhere nearby. Went to Great Clips in Dublin, where one of the staff gave me the number for this place. The owner has been cutting hair for years, and has set up this nice little shop across the street from the Cheese House. Keep your eyes peeled; it sits in a little cluster of buildings. There is a sign out front. My hair isn't exactly complicated, and she made it look nice (nice enough for Sweetie, and who else do I have to please?) Trimmed my beard, too, far better than I can. Price was very reasonable, the owner is friendly, and the building is clean. It ain't exactly the old neighborhood barber shop, but those places are disappearing. I'll take skillful, cheap haircuts wherever I can get 'em...
