I came here under the impression that it was still Vision January 15th. My nipple ring had fallen…read moreout the day before and I needed help getting it back in. The woman who tried to help me couldn't get jewelry in a said I needed to be re-pierced... so she re-pierced it but had trouble getting it through. She also seemed to have no experience piercing at all and was expressing being scared to pierce people and doesn't like causing people pain... I noticed that she pierced it lower than it was and closer to my breast and not the same way that it was when she told me she would be re-piercing through the same holes and she didn't - she pierced lower towards my breast. I don't know if I have an infection or what is going on because it is over a month later and I'm having extreme pain in my nipple even when just putting on a shirt and my nipple looks larger or swollen compared to my other one still over a month later and with all of this pain. My boyfriend gave me a hug this morning and I screamed out in pain because even something that light is causing a shock of pain everytime even just putting a shirt on. I'm very experienced with piercings and have never had an infection before and I'm not sure what is going on because I don't seem to have any discolored puss but my nipple being enlarged and in this much pain is very concerning to me and I will be going to urgent care today and possibly another shop to try and find out what's wrong with my nipple. I'm very upset and disappointed and even more upset I paid $100+ to have an experience like this when I know Vision or even heart and dagger if they were still around wouldn't have charged me as much to re-pierce a nipple ring that just fell out the day before nonetheless wouldn't have caused me to have an issue/possible infection

The current jewelry was an opal and they weren't sure if they had it. The dude never stood up from the couch and asked a women to look for the opal. She didn't understand what an internally threaded ball was and that was what I needed for the rook. I assumed they were looking for it so I sat down waiting to be called. About 10 minutes go by. Another customer walks into the shop and gets all set up for her piercing with forms and jewelry and gets called back. So I ask about my jewelry. They hadn't even checked to see if they had it and turns out they don't! He came out with a belly button ring and when I ask "but will that work for my rook" and he replied no. They complete just ignored me because I didn't need a new piercing. So I wasted my time sitting there while they all sat on their phones and were going through another tattoo artists work in the waiting area and absolutely trash talking it. Overall extremely disappointed and will never be returning. You can better service somewhere else!

I went with Ivan since he does a particular black and grey style I was looking for. I emailed my ideas and current tattoos, and Ivan confirmed he wanted to do the piece. They also confirmed he is cash only. A few week before I decided to go larger with my piece and I also confirmed via email that it was possible. The space is really nice. Ivan took about an hour to draw my piece and incorporated the flowers I wanted. It was about $900 including the deposit. My only disappointment is there were a few blowouts after it healed. Ultimately I love the piece and how it fits with my existing tattoos.

Poor communication and not helpful after the tattoo healed poorly. They would not tell me what kind of ink was used after I inquired. In fact, it took them almost 2 weeks to respond to my 2 emails and one voicemail with the excuse they were overseas. Sorry- you run a business that charges $300/hr you should have someone to answer the phone. It's a large piece that is still not finished. I now have to find a new artist to complete it because the guy that did it, Ivan, is back in Russia. The woman that set up my appt scheduled me for 5 hours, a month before he was leaving (I was not made aware of this at booking), when she was fully aware the piece (half sleeve) would take over 10 hours to complete. THE DAY AFTER the tattoo got extremely infected and over the course of 3 weeks I ended up having to go to the ER twice for IV antibiotics and an infectious disease specialist after the oral antibiotics my PCP prescribed failed to work . The ID never determined the cause but thought it may have been contaminated ink. To this day the tattoo continues to fade and I have large patches of ink missing- and no I did not pick at it. This is not my first go around tattoo wise and I followed the aftercare instructions to a T, however, I recognize the infection may not have been their fault. It could have been a freak thing. This is why my emails were not accusatory. Nonetheless I only received one response, and once I asked what typed of ink was used (Dr wanted to see if there were any FDA advisories for bacteria contaminated ink), the conversation ended. Another complaint: When making the appointment and taking $100 Paypal deposit from me, it was never told to me that Ivan is CASH ONLY. Their website says they take credit card. For the work that day it was approx $1500. Who carries that much in cash ?? Needless to say it was a shock to be expected to pony up $1400 (less deposit) after sitting for a tattoo for 5 hours. He pointed out their were signs and there were. They were tiny!!! And even that when he had me fill out the forms he did not mention that I would be expected to pay cash. I ended up having to go to the ATM and then pay pal him the rest since I have a daily cap on ATM withdrawals. Oh and he had nothing drawn up when I arrived so I sat by myself (there was no one else present in the studio- just Ivan and I) for an hour while he came up with the design. When taking my deposit the studio asked for pictures of what I wanted and it was clear he never looked at them . At least if he told me about the cash beforehand I could have taken the hour I was just sitting there to go get that out of the way at least. Run, don't walk from this place. Very unprofessional and I am not at all happy with the "final product".
