I came here under the impression that it was still Vision January 15th. My nipple ring had fallen out the day before and I needed help getting it back in. The woman who tried to help me couldn't get jewelry in a said I needed to be re-pierced... so she re-pierced it but had trouble getting it through. She also seemed to have no experience piercing at all and was expressing being scared to pierce people and doesn't like causing people pain... I noticed that she pierced it lower than it was and closer to my breast and not the same way that it was when she told me she would be re-piercing through the same holes and she didn't - she pierced lower towards my breast. I don't know if I have an infection or what is going on because it is over a month later and I'm having extreme pain in my nipple even when just putting on a shirt and my nipple looks larger or swollen compared to my other one still over a month later and with all of this pain. My boyfriend gave me a hug this morning and I screamed out in pain because even something that light is causing a shock of pain everytime even just putting a shirt on. I'm very experienced with piercings and have never had an infection before and I'm not sure what is going on because I don't seem to have any discolored puss but my nipple being enlarged and in this much pain is very concerning to me and I will be going to urgent care today and possibly another shop to try and find out what's wrong with my nipple. I'm very upset and disappointed and even more upset I paid $100+ to have an experience like this when I know Vision or even heart and dagger if they were still around wouldn't have charged me as much to re-pierce a nipple ring that just fell out the day before nonetheless wouldn't have caused me to have an issue/possible infection read more

AVOID FOR PIERCINGS! Terrible service. I went in because one of the balls on my rook piercing had fallen out and I needed it replaced. I walked in and stated as such. The current jewelry was an opal and they weren't sure if they had it. The dude never stood up from the couch and asked a women to look for the opal. She didn't understand what an internally threaded ball was and that was what I needed for the rook. I assumed they were looking for it so I sat down waiting to be called. About 10 minutes go by. Another customer walks into the shop and gets all set up for her piercing with forms and jewelry and gets called back. So I ask about my jewelry. They hadn't even checked to see if they had it and turns out they don't! He came out with a belly button ring and when I ask "but will that work for my rook" and he replied no. They complete just ignored me because I didn't need a new piercing. So I wasted my time sitting there while they all sat on their phones and were going through another tattoo artists work in the waiting area and absolutely trash talking it. I've had some amazing color work done by Bobby before but I was so happy he was available for the walk in because he did a SPECTACULAR job. I originally thought I wanted the design small but once we fitted it to my arm I loved the design bigger and better. Great environment, professional and fun. DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR PIERCINGS!!! I got my rook pierced here a year ago and the experience was good--the female was very informative and sweet. My rook fell out yesterday and I came into this shop again, hoping that the piercer could help me put the proper jewelry back in. There was a different piercer there this time, a tall middle-aged man with gauges and a bad attitude. I asked for his help to put the proper jewelry back in because I could feel that my piercing was getting irritated with the temporary jewelry that I put in there so that my piercing wouldn't close. Right when he saw the irritation, he had a condescending tone and said that I shouldn't put anything else in because I have huge keloids (I only had mid-sized irritation bumps) that needed to heal before I put anything else back in. Without any warning, he abrasively turned the jewelry (hoop) in my piercing and was extremely rough when taking it out, to that point that the piercing and jewelry was all bloody. He made it seem like I had no other options and I was in pain because of how he took the jewelry out, so I asked if he could clean up the piercing so that I could leave as quickly as possible. Immediately after, I went to Alliance Tattoo (where they've done a great job with my piercings every time I've gone). The piercer at Alliance was kind and patient when he gave me my options. He put in longer jewelry so that the piercing could have space to heal from the irritation. He was very gentle the entire time--it was such a great experience compared to the absolutely terrible experience I had at Vision Tattoo. I will never be back here. Make sure y'all go to Alliance Tattoo instead if you want to be treated with basic decency!! read more

I went to Visions to get clear plastic retainers and was helped by Bubba. As soon as we started he was EXTREMELY rude and judgmental when I was showing him what was wrong with my piercings. Everytime I would say something he would not answer or get very smart with me. He gave me an attitude for my piercings being infected. He told me I needed to use salt spray so when i asked how to make it he told me i shouldn't have run out of the spray i was given when it was pierced, and that it would've even been enough for 2 piercings. I have 11 piercings. When I asked what piercing he just touched he rolled his eyes AS IF IM SUPPOSED TO KNOW! At one point i cracked a joke to break the ice and no one laughed. It was honestly really funny and no one acknowledged me except my friend. Definitely going to Exotics next time and highly recommend it. Bubba is much more gentle but Exotics is less mental pain. read more

I've been to vision over the course of three years many times for piercings and tattoos and I am always satisfied with the work. The problem is the girls at the front desk. I don't know if they have ever worked another job before in their life because they look confused when you walk in to the shop, and there is no hi how are you. Just dirty looks and "why are you here" They don't explain how anything works it's just an awkward atmosphere for customers. Gene fucked my tattoo up and I called in a day later to have to touch it up only to be told I need to make an appointment for a consultation. I can only do consultations on the weekdays which my schedule makes it impossible to do. I explained this and I was told they could not accommodate me and if I wanted I could catch Gene on one of his smoke breaks on the weekend. Wtf kind of bullshit is that? Furthermore, they informed me I would have to pay Gene's minimum for him to do anything which is $125. I have a sleeve on my right arm, a rib piece, tats here and there, etc. I'm not a new comer and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I'm in need of an artist now for a leg sleeve and some chest tats. He could have had a loyal client that would have kept coming back. Instead I'm going to spread the word to everyone I meet! Very inexperienced pierer. First she pierced through my cartilage in my septum then said we had to redo it and used the same needle to re pierce me in another incorrect spot. I had to take out my septum piercing after being in alot of pain and it not healing due to how it was pierced. Please do ur re search and go to a professional piercer !!! Stay away from this place. They also use cheap overpriced jewelry and she did not open any needles or anything in front of me. She kept it behind the chair which is a big red flag and I should have left. I've gone here for a lot of my piercings in the past. I connected with Jackie and even though condescending at first, I liked how thorough she was with the whole process. Even though I live a little short of an hour away from this shop, I will go out of my way to go there if I trust the piercer. Last time I had gone to her, I had expressed that I wanted a piercing re pierced and we discussed possibly being able to use the ring I had bc she said it "looked solid" and that I'd have to drop it off an hour before my appointment to sanitize it. Made an appointment over the phone for after i got off of work, headed up there and walked in a bit early to just to see if she could peep my piercing site, so if we COULD use the jewelry to sanitize it, we could just get that done. Instead of being able to explain myself to Jackie, she came out and reemed me out about coming an hour before my appointment and "waking her up from her nap". super unprofessional, kept denying she had said any of that to me when i was there for an appointment three months prior but my friend was standing in the door way when she pierced me and heard everything I heard. never going to you again queen not to mention the front desk is literally talking shit about everyone in the store in front if clients which makes you feel small when u are in their presence. will make fun of clients calling on the phone as soon as they hang up and speak loudly about it like they have an audience. not professional, very intimidating and uncomfortable read more

If there was an option to get 0 stars, I would definitely give them that. I went for a walk in on Aug 26, 2017. Woman at the front desk was amazing, really made it a mission to make me comfortable & make sure I was able to the tattoo I was so eager on getting. (3 word quote simple.) The man that did my tattoo however, Dave.. Very cold, stand off-ish, didn't really listen or care to listen while we had our brief consultation.. As time went on, signs pointed me out the door. For starters I waited over an hour for a stencil of a 3 word quote, everyone working in the shop seemed to be hiding, the list could go on. Well, it began time to do my tattoo. Dave did an amazing job putting the stencil on, and the stencil itself was amazing. (Figuring it was printed out and traced?) however as he was tattooing me, he was reluctant on how he should do it/ where to start. Causing him to start at one end to the other and somehow meeting in the middle to finish. Long story short, I ended up leaving w/ a crappy tattoo. (A looking like a U, 2 words looking like they should be together, and a U looking like a W.) & when I made complaints about it Braxton (shop manager.) jerked me around several times and fought me on fixing it. I made the initial call on September 5, 2017. Sent photos, made several calls. He never looked at the pictures until the day before said appointment when I continued to ask if he looked at them. He also pressured me to have Dave rework the tattoo/cover up if need be. Then finally! After a million calls, I finally got someone to look at this tattoo. (September 20, 2017.) I came in for said appointment, and they didn't give me the time of day & stated how there was nothing wrong w/ the tattoo. That it was pretty much my fault that the healing process didn't turn out right. They constantly contradicted themselves saying it looked fine, that they looked at the stencil numerous times saying it looks like 3 separate words. Until Braxton said, "We could combine the the two T's. They're suppose to be one word right?" After we repeatedly said what the tattoo should be.. No they didn't "rework" it like they promised that day. Long story short. Save your $, don't go to this shop. Because once you complain about things that didn't go as planned. I've been here once before and got a simple, yet smudged tattoo. This time, I had another artist help me with a tattoo that is meaningful to me- a paw print of my childhood dog. I gave the artist a print and asked them to keep it certain dimensions for the size. When I arrived for my appointment, the tattoo template was not at all what I sent in- it was oversized and overdrawn. This tattoo was poorly executed by the artist, and when I expressed my concerns I was met with disregard. I will not go here again, as Dave, my artist, did not care for my concerns over the stencil and did not stop when I asked because of the pain level. Overall- I'm glad I got my tattoo but I'm disappointed in the lack of concern this place has for their customers. If you're thinking about going here, my advise is that you get what you pay for. Wouldn't pierce my septum saying I had no skin and only cartilage. Told them if they wouldn't pierce me I'll go somewhere else. They said I have to be born with the body part in order to be pierced and that if I went to another place they'll do it incorrectly like they're the only big shot piercing place around. In this case I didn't know this would happen therefore I had no appointment made. The earliest they could get me in was Friday and due to my work schedule that is not an option. I have some work on me; just my arms... don't worry no-place too personal! The last time I went, I had a young guy was a bit gruff and abrupt. He insisted on no one speaking while he was working. OK, well Mr. Issues aside! This large well designed, and modern-artistically inspired tattoo and body piercing parlor is more like a buffet. They offer anywhere between three and seven artists working at a time, and each having a different talent. It's pretty cool! They can sometime take walk-ins, but they will encourage you to make an appointment. And rightfully so... who wants to rush into getting a tattoo! They have design books, and books, and books! They have a huge selection of piercing jewelry, from wood, bone, stainless, titanium, and much more. They also have some apparel, and business promos. Clean, clean clean. They are one of the most sterile, and cleanest places I know. Their staff is really keen on the safety, and sanitation. I mean... as well they should be. Dirty needles, and equipment... BAD DAY! Staff is very helpful and very thorough, especially with the aftercare instructions, and product recommendations. Everyone seems knowledgeable, and ready to help. Overall good experiences! I've been going to this place for years for piercings and have never really had an issue with the piercers. This time I went they had someone new start and my friend and I were her clients. My appointment was for 3 pm and I was not brought into the room for 40 minutes because she couldn't find the jewelry I had asked for. Then when it was time to start piercing she was very aggressive and unorganized. she stabbed my ear with the needle in a different spot while piercing my rook. So freakin' clean in here! Got my tongue pierced here in December and it was spotless. The piercer was professional and knowledgeable, asked all the right questions, and made sure I knew what was going on. As far as the actual piercing, well, pain tolerances vary but mine was more of an odd sensation than a painful one. (Until the next day, at least...) It healed up in about two weeks and is in absolutely perfect shape now. MInus one star for being ridiculously expensive. The piercing and jewelry set me back $80. While I was here I looked into getting my back piece done by one of their artists, but I'd already been quoted at half of what they told me, and just couldn't do it. Also, the jewelry is overpriced, at $15 for a 14-g tongue stud. Overall though, awesome experience. If you don't mind spending the extra cash, it's completely worth it. read more
