Break n Anger is the place to let that urge out safely and legally. Here's how it works: You get to choose 2 items from the top shelf and 5 items each from shelves 2, 3, and 4 -- so about 17 items total to smash. After signing the waivers, you suit up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They offer earplugs too, but I skipped those -- the sound of breaking stuff is half the fun. Honestly, the time flew by -- I went all in for 10 minutes and it felt like seconds. I probably should've paced myself, but I really wanted to let the rage out. It'd be better if they took online reservations through a third party. Few people would be comfortable giving their card details over the phone to a stranger. It's common sense not to. You can come whenever you want during these hours, they put a colored dot on your card so they will announce when your one-hour time limit is up. It goes by pretty quickly. I obviously didn't plan this lol So we called a few places and I remembered seeing Hawaii Voice on the news and I was always inteigued about the experience of this place. We called and they could accommodate us right away. We headed there and they had the beautiful room all ready to go. The room was huge and clean! Decorations were colorful and bright. The couches were very comfortable and clean. The TVs were HUGE! They were the biggest screens I've ever had for karaoke. The system has plenty of features, and for some, it may be "too much". They offer they're own karaoke catalog system, an older karaoke system (no videos, just lyrics), and YouTube was also integrated. One of the karaoke systems was cool cause you could see the music videos and can sing along. The only thing we noticed for some songs, the synchronization of music and lyrics were off so just make sure you know the song, otherwise, you're gonna be a beat behind. Also, the YouTube system didn't allow ANY song to be sung. The system didn't support some well-known karaoke channels because of the video formats. Lastly, the choice of Japanese songs was bare, but that's not really a problem if you don't sing Japanese songs. They have drinks and food, but we only ordered drinks because we already ate...and we like alcohol. They had a fairly good selection for hards and beers. Sorry, I cannot give an opinion on food. Staff is awesome. We met the owner and he treated us so well. To squeeze us in on a Saturday was a treat, and also a lesson to us on better planning (well, my friends, not me because this wouldn't have happened lol). Entry is only $12, which feels like a great deal for what you get. It's on the smaller side, but still really entertaining. We loved seeing a monk seal swimming around, along with tons of seahorses, jellyfish, a couple sharks, and lots of colorful fish. We even spotted a humuhumunukunukuapuaʻa, which was a fun Hawaii highlight. Only downside was getting bitten by mosquitoes inside, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, we had a really good time and would recommend it as an easy, affordable activity in Waikiki.

The Waikiki Aquarium - is affordable, and focuses on local sea life. I have been to many aquariums with all the same fish. Most of the sea life here are smaller such as fish, jellies, sea horses but they do have a rescue Hawaiian Monk Seal in a large outdoor area. I was 13 the first time I went to this aquarium with my grandparents and I was so captivated by the sea dragons - this was the first place I ever saw them. I still have the stuffed one they bought me on that visit. My boyfriend also commented that he enjoyed this aquarium because it is focused on the local sea life. They are currently having some construction to expand and add some additional exhibits but overall it was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend especially if you have younger children as it isn't a huge aquarium but alot of local sea life.

When we heard our neighbors went to the Aloha Drive-In to watch a movie, we said we needed to do that! So glad we did! Customers can order from Raising Cane's. When Aloha Drive-In first started, customers can place their order online. The staff will bring the online orders to the car. However, when we arrived tonight, the movie crew did not hand out Raising Cane's order form. Instead the movie crew set up a small concession stand at the left of the screen. Customers can bring their own food and drinks if they like. I spoke to someone who helped to put the theater production together. He said that the company may get a bigger screen to show the movies. But that depends on the budget. Drive-Ins pave the way to bring people together. Families come to the drive-in to watch movies together. This provides a good way to have family time.

Foster Botanical Garden came to mind. I haven't been here for a very long time! The entrance is located along Vineyard Blvd. - westbound, right after the Kuan Yin Temple. There's plenty of free parking. Out of all the City and County botanical gardens, this is the only one with admission, but it's well worth the price - $5 for adults, $3 for Hawai'i Residents, $1 Children 6-12 (so, 13+ are adults?), and free for kids 5 and under. There is a free docent-led 90-minute tour at 10:30am - every Monday and Wednesday to Saturday - anyone can join. Walk-ins okay if there's space, or make reservations via email or phone. Before heading in, you can grab a map and a bird checklist. The garden itself is very well kept and quite spacious. There are two restrooms - one on the left and another on the right. They were quite clean! All areas, trees, and plants are clearly marked. Be on the lookout for the "exceptional trees" such as the Baobab, which looks like elephant legs; Cannonball Tree, Kapok, and etc. The Orchid Collection in the greenhouse has a nice variety with the infamous Corpse Flower. Overall, a very nice, well-maintained place to visit and worth the admission fee. Even though you're in town, next to the freeway and busy streets around, you still feel a sense of relaxation and calm while connecting with nature and admiring the vast collection of trees and plants. I wouldn't mind getting the annual pass for $25 just to take my lunch here!
