The Princess is Douglas' ONLY movie theatre, and under its new ownership it is finally open 7 days a week. The only downfall is that there is still usually just one movie showing per week, and the movie is usually a few weeks old by the time it makes it here. BUT, at least there is somewhere to go in town any day of the week to see the new releases! No more driving to Casper just for a movie... The theatre itself has been beautifully remodeled. It retains it classic, "old theatre" feel, but (thankfully) the seats, sound, and picture have all been updated to provide a much newer, more satisfying experience. Highly recommended while you are in Douglas!

And now I will not step foot in a theater here again. I talked to a manager about showing "Vindicating Trump". He informed me that they made a decision not to show it because they thought it was too controversial. I told him that the people should make that decision on their own. He replied that they made the decision and that was their decision.

I have been to this theater twice and very much like it. On my first time I saw Get Hard in one of…read morethe regular auditoriums and really liked the reclining leather seats. On my second time I saw Furious 7 in the Cooper auditorium and found that the leather seats there did not recline. This was a big let down. Also it seemed that the auditorium was a little small for the oversized 60' x 30' screen. I almost like the America Theater downtown better, as it seems, as though the auditorium fits the screen size. I really felt that the Cooper should be a slightly deeper. In addition I am not sure the sound was much better for the extra ticket price. Other pluses include the touch screen self-serve fountain machines with lots of drink/favor options. In addition the variety of food options was great, despite the high movie theater prices. Other minuses include problems with reserving seats on their website. I tried a few times yesterday to reserve a seat for Furious 7, but could not on my computer. I really hope this was a one day glitch that will be or already has been fixed. In addition being on the other side could be a minus if you are like me and leave an the eastside of Casper. In all I really like this theater and will continue to drive across town to see movies there, but will not do it for everyone. I will continue to visit the America for certain movies, as I feel the screen there is not oversized for the auditorium and plus the cost is less than the Cooper. In addition I will also visit the Fox and Studio City 10 East for their bargain prices - all the time at the Fox and for early morning shows at the other.
