Cool space, good deal on drinks. Appears to be a great venue for a concert. Good lineup of folks and plan on coming back!

First time at this place ever. This place is really awesome. The food is good they give you great amount of portions. The service was good. They were on point and the ambience is a very good ambience. You can still talk live bands or what love bands are And you can hear it throughout the place. They have an outdoor area also for volleyball and cornhole some good country dancing also on the weekends. I highly recommend this place. read more

Definitely the "Hot Spot" now in Casper on weekends. It's a Mini Beacon " if you will, They have a variety of tasty bar foods that are reasonably priced, quick service and live music as well. Finally. Downtown Casper is alive again I definitely recommend them. read more

There's something for everyone here: full bar, bar bites, arcade games, corn hole, TVs, and they're open to all ages on Sunday. I wasn't in a drinking mood when we were here, but the bartender working that night was super quick on my club soda and she didn't miss a beat when 5 of us ordered our drinks. read more

I've only been here a couple of times but it's a cute bar with a nice atmosphere. I like it because it's clean, spacious, and they have arcade games. The drinks are a little pricey but I'm a lightweight so not a big deal and I haven't tried any of the food but it all looks pretty good. read more

With the Venue change came the Gaslight Social seems to have collapsed. Usually you start seeing an inflow of patrons to the bar around 9pm. By 10PM the bar has 75-100 patrons on a slow night. With the venue change to country music from the prior venue of live DJ music and dancing, and the addition of the Beacon bartenders that left recently from there, the only patrons in the Gaslight were beacon patrons that came over to see their bartenders. The music is country, and contrary to the facebook post, all Gaslight has booked out for live music into july are Country bands, with the exception of one Rock band in Jan that was already contracted. The price of drinks went up and you can't even taste the alcohol now. The atmosphere went down and energy died, and Casper is not the better for it. Sad to see the old venue go. Visit #: 1 Will be back if in the area I so desperately wanted to be the first reviewer but this place was so new during the eclipse, I couldn't find it on Yelp. My friends and I stopped in after a long day at Riverfest, and thought it was the neatest addition to what seems like an otherwise small and sleepy town. Great beer selection + arcade games = winning combo. The patio outside features cornhole sets and seating...I want my backyard to look like Gaslight's does. This is a must see place in Casper. The food and drinks are great. When there be sure to take time out to look at all the detail work the owners took to give it that 1920's feel....plenty of entertainment for everyone. Definitely a hidden jewel within the old Yellowstone district. read more

This place is an enigma. It was pretty good when it first opened, but went rapidly downhill after that. The only thing it still has going for it is the cool location. The food has gone downhill and most of the time the service is terrible. It seems like much of the wait staff have no idea what they are doing. The last straw for eating here was when our waitress had to come back three times to take our order. She kept forgetting and wasn't writing it down!? The third time we told her we would just go somewhere else. In addition to that, this places seems to get rough late in the evening. Fights breaking out and people who have had way too much to drink. In spite of all of this, many people still seem to like it. I'm baffled. read more

I've been to the GS twice: once during the Eclipse and once for a regular old date night. Totally happy with both experiences. Our second server kept having to go back to the bar to see if they stocked the alcohol we wanted, but explained that they are always bringing in new and different choices, so she gave up on memorizing. Very disappointed in this place. I have gone many times. And each time I leave underwhelmed. The last few times I thought the bill was astronomically High. So I reviewed it, and found many drinks on the ticket that weren't mine. The last time, I ordered house whiskey, they charge 854 that. Which is fine, however the second whiskey was 1550. When I asked what that was all about they said they were all out of the house brand and so they gave me top shelf. Well, I didn't ask for it. Fairly busy on a Friday night. Bartender was a lot of fun and attentive. Great place to stop in for drinks.

Fish tacos and nachos were really good. No one I was with had problems with their food. Where this place lags is wait staff. I don't know what dress code for staff is but a waitress with denim cut offs on that the pockets are hanging down in front and a neon hoodie looks totally inappropriate. There should at least be a minimum standard of dress. Surely looking like you haven't changed out of your camping gear yet isn't the standard. Wait staff seem to be inexperienced on how to be of service and present themselves as well groomed. One might imagine that anticipating a need would be a given established norm in the service industry. Not here. It was I'll get to you when I can and then delivered in a hurried way that was sloppy. Btw kids are welcome Tues eve but bring your own high chair and boostèr seats if you need them cause this place does not have any and is unapologetic about it. read more

Such a fun place! This is a great addition to downtown. Been here twice for beer and games (they have skee ball!!). Super great atmosphere, great service, and a staggering selection of draft beer. Nice outdoor area with comfortable seating too. Great place to meet up with friends and have fun. Lots of option for seating make it possible to have a quiet conversation or sit at the tall live edge bar tables in the gaming area and be in the middle of it all. Haven't tried the food yet but plan to soon. We live walking distance from this place and plan to be frequent customers. read more

This establishment is really nice to look at and be in. The decor is beautiful. I'm really impressed with the way it looks. I love the garage doors that are open when it's nice outside. There are beautiful chandeliers hanging all over and great spaces to be in. I can't say enough about how much I like it. If you are just wanting alcohol, this is a great place. I wasn't too impressed with their menu choices so I ordered a quesadilla, thinking that was one item that anyone could get right. It was not good - how can anyone not make a decent quesadilla?! I think it must have been frozen first because the taste and texture were not good. The salsa tasted like Pace picante. I'd definitely not order food there again. If the owners hired a chef to create a good menu and teach the kitchen staff how to cook this place would be incredible. I highly recommend if you're not hungry. read more

The bartenders here have poor hospitality skills. They respond extremely poorly to any sense of urgency. Someone needs to educate the staff to the simple principles of supply and demand. As time passes I'm sure management will make the appropriate changes. read more

I came here the Sunday before the solar eclipse, looking for just a quick drink and a spot in the shade. I walked in to find a beautifully furnished if not loud and crowded business. I sat down with one other person, and the two of us skimmed over the menu. I knew it was busy, so I tried to order the easiest and quickest thing to make - a hummus plate and a house salad. I waited 20 minutes before a server even came to my table. I ordered, and the other person I was eating with ordered a 307 vodka on the rocks. Our waiter seemed to be confused with what 307 even was, and when it finally came 10 minutes later, it was "the worst vodka I have ever tasted," and definitely not 307. We waited for a total of 90 minutes, and never did receive our food. I would not recommend. read more

Used to be such a fun place when it first opened! Around Fall 2017. The food is very below average. Seems severely understaffed for being a very busy bar on the weekends. I understand a wait time don't get me wrong but the wait time shouldn't be over 15 minutes just to get a bartenders attention for a drink. Having more bartenders and better entertainment would help immensely. read more

We love the Gaslight-- just a forewarning-- they have family friendly days on Sundays and now Mondays and Tuesdays. We avoid those days like the plague because we want to enjoy a bar atmosphere with other adults which is becoming rarer. There are hardly any decent places that do not allow children and some are after 8pm but we don't go out that late. This place is a nice place to talk and have a drink and maybe play some games. We love it for happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays. We have never been disappointed in the nacho trough-- which is our favorite. We mainly do drinks and do not treat it as a restaurant but as a bar that happens to serve food. We want to try to watch football here this fall with the exception of Sunday football since it is family day (yuck). read more

Visited here the day before the eclipse of 2017. The place had only been open for a few days and was absolutely slammed with eclipse travellers. The staff was trying hard to keep up with the demand but not succeeding. Service was very slow - but like I said, they were slammed and were still working out the kinks involved with a new opening. Had it not been for the circumstances I'd have ranked them lower - but I had to cut them some slack. But, if the circumstances had been different, and they hadn't been slammed, their performance would probably have been much better and my ranking would have been better. The people we sat next to couldn't have been nicer and they improved the experience significantly. If they are any indication of the people this place attracts, I'd go back just for the company. Up side: Good menu. Good selection of (mostly local) beers. Great patrons. Down side: Slow service (when slammed). Food was not well prepared (according to their menu, the burger meat they use is the best in the world, but when it's over-cooked to the consistency of shoe leather - not so good). The place has potential but much work remains to be done before they deserve better ratings. If I was local, I'd give them another try when the eclipse travellers have gone. read more

On a cross country roadtrip we were going to eat at a place that ended up being shut down, then we picked a pizza place and my GPS took us here instead! My Cobb salad was giant, my husband liked his burger, the mac and cheese was unimpressive, and there is a nice tap variety. Way more hip than we were expecting!! The bathrooms are super cool with their antique house doors on the stalls, and there's a wide open game area with two putting stations. This would be a lot of fun with friends some evening. Only complaint is the slow service, but I'm guessing there was a shift change and only one waitress plus the bartender. read more

If you like nachos people with since of humor, good beer, socializing, and feeling complete when you go out to eat. This is the spot!

Probably my new favorite bar in Casper! Atmosphere is enjoyable, and the bartenders are very professional.
