There was no contract provided, and I had to repeatedly follow up just to get a receipt after sending a $100 deposit (which I ultimately told her to keep). Communication was extremely poor--my messages weren't answered in a timely manner, and although she said she would reach out prior to the event, I didn't hear from her until the day of the party. At that point, she had no details or preparation in place, so I had to hire someone else last minute. Overall, this was completely unprofessional and frustrating.
