I was surprised and asked what's that. So they introduced me to Rolling Robot. My boy becomes so motivated not only robotics but also school. He started to care about his grade because he is in the good environment that all kids are positive and think it's important to have a good grade. The director Bing is a truly educator that cares about kids. I cannot say how much I appreciate Rolling Robot. Most importantly, like with any artist, they help him to create and improve the type of art that HE wants to create. They are great at giving guidance and providing support for him when he has questions or wants to learn new techniques. The instructors are all experienced in their respective areas and you can even see their photos and bios on the main wall when you enter the studio. They are always available at the end of class to go over what was covered in class and to answer any questions from parents as well. The kids were outside all day, with a packed schedule of fun activities like kayaking, canoeing, archery, laser tag, yoga, dancing, and paddleboarding to name a few, not to mention fair like games and rides during free time. It was nonstop fun, and he loved connecting with old friends and making new ones. The counselors were incredible, so patient, positive and full of energy. A huge thank you to Jim (AKA Cardinal), the coach for the Bears group this past week! He made the week unforgettable, and my son won't stop talking about how much fun he had and how awesome his coach was. You can also buy food from them (catered daily from nearby restaurants) which is a huge bonus for kids like mine who aren't into cold sandwiches. We just finished 8 weeks back to back of incredible summer camps, and this was definitely a top contender for my kid. We will be back, and I 100% recommend Camp James.

I looked into Language Door and found our forever home. First, the owner Natascha is fantastic. She's multi lingual and very hands on. She loves what she does and it shows with all the students. She knows what teachers would be best for certain students. Second, I love love love Susan and Lupe who work as administrators. Susan is Hungarian and speaks so many languages, I can't keep track. She's kind, a world of knowledge and gives the best hugs. Lupe is smart, multi lingual and wonderful! Every student who walks in is greeted in the language they're learning. There are adults and kids learning Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, etc. The teachers are worldly, my kids love their classes and can't wait to go to school even on Saturday's. While I'm waiting for my kids I get to speak with all the parents who are lovely. Walking in I feel transported to an international setting where people are open minded, multi cultural and inclusive. Coach Ash and Sassan are so positive and fun and really seem invested in the kids they coach. Based in Irvine, but their camps go anywhere in OC and they are very reasonably priced. They also host a chess club, and plan and coordinate many extra curricular activities for their kids; like watching the LA Galaxy and autograph signing session with Jose Villareal.
