Ashley was quick to reply to my email and told me all about her sessions and packages. We booked a date a few weeks out and go figure my daughter developed a little runny nose and cough the day before. I didn't think playing in the ocean at sunset would be the best thing for her so I had to cancel. I felt terrible cancelling last minute, but Ashley is also a mom and was completely understanding. We scheduled another session the following week and go figure, 2 days before our session we were in Northern California and our flight home got cancelled and it took us over 24 hours to make it back home. Hence session cancellation #2!! I gave Ashley full permission to fire me as a client, but once again she was nothing but sweet and completely understanding.... again! They say third time is a charm and it most definitely was. We finally got to meet for our session the following week and it was well worth the wait! My daughter is 20 months old and is super slow to warm up to new people. Ashley is fabulous with little ones and engaged her and got her smiling in just a few minutes. My husband and I are both surfers and so we brought a longboard into the whitewater and had tons of fun just playing around. Ashley captured so many amazing shots of our family.
