We bought a reed diffuser for Mothers day and when we got home to Durham there was a small crack that let the liquid out. Got in touch and got a new one posted straight away with no fuss. Lovely man and a great service! read more

Always one to give fellow artists a bit of publicity in the hope they may do the same for me one day. Nice to have a bit of art from visiting places. I have 4 tiny watercolours, in one frame, 2 of Whitby and 2 of Robin Hoods Bay. This is a converted slaughterhouse and adjoining butcher's shop in the old part of Whitby. Now the busy, open, studio of John Freeman. See the artist at work and developing paintings in the visitor area. Over 200 original watercolours limited edition and 'open' prints available to view and purchase. Commissions are also undertaken by him. The studio also has a fine range of studies of H M Endeavour. His work, particularly his very popular 'Nocturne' series, are a wonderful combination of atmosphere and detail. Many of the habour and abbey. A born and bred Yorkshire man he loves to paint remote areas and dilapidated buildings. His detail to light and shade give his work an incredible feeling of mood and atmosphere. Free entry read more
