Tina was great! I got the best haircut I've gotten in a long time. Tina (the owner/stylist) really listens to what you want. Throughout the haircut, she asked me if I wanted to adjust this or that, talked about what she was doing, and it was really helpful in getting the perfect cut that for me will be both easy to maintain, able to dress up, and also really stylish. She nailed it. She also seems like a really great person. Very nice, down to earth, and easy to work with...with a great sense of style & what will work for you. I have had short blonde hair for many years and have gone to many salons in the tri-state area from Lancaster, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York. Alana at Viva La Vida does the best color of them all. To top that off her cuts are great as well. She is so customer oriented- she really listens to what you want and asks all the right questions. I've recommended for two of my pickiest friends to go to Alana and they both raved about her, and of course now get their hair done regularly by her.

I could not have been happier with the service we were provided. Everyone looked beautiful, and everyone was very happy with their hair. Amy, the owner, did my hair, with some help from Rikki, and they took so much time to make sure that it looked exactly right. I had come in a few months earlier for my trial run, which was also really great and welcoming, and I could tell that they cared that what they did for me was what I wanted. In the time between the trial and the big day, I changed my mind about how I wanted part of the style, and not only did they enthusiastically take on the new style, they made sure that it was perfect and would last the whole night. Rikki did my makeup, and I can honestly say that I've never felt more beautiful. She did an amazing job, and I didn't need any touching up the rest of night. I felt amazing right until the end of the evening at 2 in the morning. Not only that, the entire staff made us feel welcome and shared everyone's excitement for the day. They let us bring in food and drinks and we basically took over their entire waiting area with all our stuff. One thing that I was very worried about was our time - we needed to get me, seven bridesmaids, and two flower girls in and out by noon so that we could make it back to our venue in time for photos. Not only was every person finished by 10:30, an hour and a half early, they had performed EXTRA services, since some of my bridesmaids decided they wanted to get their makeup done too, once they saw mine. I can't say enough good things about my experience at A Little Off the Top. I would book them again for my wedding in an instant. It was in acetone for an hour. It got nothing off and made my feet hurt for days. To make up for it they gave me an expired book of coupons and an old tootsie roll to make up for it.
