As one enters the building, the front end of a 1951 Hudson Hornet is displayed to welcome visitors to this former Hudson Packard dealership. The building has been repurposed into a period correct structure now housing, Studios on the Park. The building is divided into individual working studios were one may watch the artists create, and display their work. This allows one to appreciate the differences among the art works displayed, view technique(s), or buy an original artwork. Examples include oils, acrylics, textiles, glassware, mixed media, and a variety of other art medias. There are also three galleries: Paso Robles Joint Unified Gallery (local students), Paso Robles Art Association, and the Celeste Hope & Signature Galleries in Studio 8, featuring artists from around the world. The gift shop offers visitors the opportunity to purchase handmade creations. On exhibition from January 2 - 26, 2020, one can explore more than 70 artworks depicting Jewish heritage, culture and traditions in "Keeping the Faith: An Artistic Celebration of Judaism". During our last visit, they were also hosting "Salute to the Marx Brothers." On display were three original paintings by Arthur "Harpo" Marx. During Art After Dark Paso, on the first Saturday evening of the month they celebrate their latest exhibit along with great music and premium wines. They also serve wine by the glass every Friday and Saturday night. Please consider making a contribution to their donation box located near the entrance, or shop in the gift shop which offers the visitor the opportunity to purchase handmade creations. Both help keep the creative culture operating.

A painting class at Studios changed my life. I took a class from Anne Laddon about five years ago. I was an art major but had not painted since the 1970s. The class was fun, and a couple weeks later I bought paint and canvas and started painting again. Now I paint and sell my art. I am involved with the Paso Robles Art Association, where I have made many wonderful friends. Studios on the Park is the best place to visit in downtown Paso Robles.

A must visit to this non-profit when in Paso Robles, CA! A collection of both talented local artists and guest artists, who provide a feast for the eyes, and senses. The studio is great for discovering artist and shopping for oneself and gift giving. I treated my daughter to a class on Print Making, hosted by Bob Simola and Anne Laddon. It was a great learning experience and an enjoyable 3 hours, I highly recommend joining in on a class and creating a special something. This Studio, supports educating both young and old! Thank you for letting us join your class, we loved it! Many thanks, Deborah Sowerby

Studios on The Park is hosting an art showing called "Common Ground 2019", January 3rd to the 27th. Missy Reiner-Cameron is the curator. Various artists from Northern, Central Coast, and Southern California displayed their art. Their political views and abstract impressionism is displayed. The "Common Ground 2019" show gives artists a chance to share their views, fears, pain in a time that is very turbulent, very uncertain, and very dividing; all the meanwhile scratching away at the very core of what art represents and signifies. Art is a form of communication that invokes emotion, conversation, beauty in the eye of the beholder. It is a conversation that must never be silenced. ALL Art is for sale and partial proceeds go to Studios on the Park's Art Education Programing.

Fantastic art gallery. Amazing variety. Beautiful colors. Prices ranging from reasonable to darn expensive. Stumbled onto this place, and glad I did.

Like many of my fellow Yelpers I agree this is a must visit when coming to Paso. There are a number of really good artists that have work here and a number you can talk to as well which is always a nice treat. The gallery has a variety of items including some exhibits from local schools with budding artist. Take some time out of your day and visit and buy something if you can. Fantastic facility, Many amazingly talented artists' work on display. My kiddos attended a Kids Art Smart field trip. Jordan Hockett and his assistants were so great with the class, patient, attentive and encouraging. They did a 2 part project and even had a Snack and Story. Very impressive with this program offered to local schools! They also provide class series for both children and adults I will definitely be returning to tour and enjoy the beautiful art workm

I really loved the concept of a beautiful space that highlights the hand-crafted work of local artists. Each artist had a little alcove where they could show their work. We just loved what we saw. People were very friendly. I can definitely see myself coming back to purchase some of the works. They're not cheap but I thought the pieces were very high quality.

Since May of 2009, Studios on the Park has opened the door to all of North San Luis Obispo County for the arts! With multiple classes and events a month, Studios does all they can to bring the community together at their incredible working art studios and gallery in the heart of downtown Paso Robles! With many artists and many art styles, Studios on the Park is the place for all who love the profound effect that art has on an individual and a community! You definitely do not want to miss the extraordinary experience you will have at Studios on the Park!

This is a stellar stop in downtown area. So close to a lot of shops and restaurants in the well known Paso Robles square. There is a small suggested donation of $2 on entry and it features local artist with stellar work at a reasonable price. A number of them and still working on completing a piece live which is a real nice touch

What a beautiful place to visit, we're local and go here once a month to walk through , they have classes for all ages. My little one loves to go and see all of the different art that's on display.

We scored a charming AirBnB villa, and sampled various venues around the area for wine, beer, and olive oil tasting. On our last evening, we decided to head into town and seek a nice dining spot. Though it was a Tuesday, our first choice restaurant had a waiting list. That gave us time to stroll around the downtown plaza area. Many of the shops had just closed - this is not a nightlife kind of place as far as shopping goes, but the foodie places were just getting started. Our Sweet Granddaughter had a great time hanging out with her older cousins, and they took her farther around the park area than Dear Hubby and I had the energy to go on a hot night. The plaza has a small town vibe with lots of charm. Someone suggested a Hallmark movie kind of vibe. I agree with that assessment. Bring in some set decorators with some additional floral decor, and you'd be ready to be in the movie mode. We ended up at a different restaurant than we had originally planned for, and that was a good choice. Because of the wait we'd encountered it gave us more time to enjoy the unique architecture and vintage charm of the downtown Paso vibe.
