Awesome shop with super friendly staff. Just went in to look and found an adorable penguin for my bestie. They have a lot of vintage items, from furniture to clothes. I've been to the shop twice and I purchased both times. The first time I purchased a pair of vintage white gloves. They were only $10 and came in a paper bag. The store has multiple floors and is nicely laid out. I thought the items that they offer were interesting, unique, and mostly of high-quality. My second purchase was a sweater for $19. I was able to use the single bathroom to try it on and there's a large mirror in there. Both staff members that I communicated with were polite and helpful. I am unsure about parking opportunities. They may be challenging unless you have authorization to use the parking in the back. read more

Whoa, this is a paradise of treasures, all things from history and present. It's chock full of antiques and jewelry, furniture ... if you can think of it, they have it. I didn't know they had an upstairs till my husband discovered it and OMG the meticulously curated pieces of clothing, very discriminating and selective, e.g. a Cynthia Rowley all silk frilly ruffle dress, lined for under $50. Bougie! So beautiful. The owners are extremely selective with their pieces, and everything is meticulous. It might be one of the nicest vintage/antique stores I've been to. Each time I go I get stuck admiring their good taste. I bought a very reasonably priced tea pot this last Sunday for $20, and it is lovely. I almost bought a rough looking le creuset tea kettle for $20, but it was too small and I ended up passing. They have a lot of very high end vintage pieces and furniture. Another thing I appreciate is their vintage tools, and I was very close to purchasing a double ended multi wrench (6 set wrenches in one tool, cool!) In the past I spent too much money on a uranium glass lemon juicer. It is in pristine condition, which is why they wanted $45 for it. Very highly recommend this place, but yes, it is pricier than ones where everything is scattered about. read more

This place is so cool that I ended up buying several old records and I don't even own a record player (yet) as well as other items. I wanted to pick up a souvenir to remember my amazing trip to Paso Robles for Memorial Day Weekend and left with so many great finds not just for myself but for my family too! They are usually not open on Monday's from what I heard but I was so happy they had special hours for Memorial Day (my wallet wasn't as happy as I was). There's anything from jewelry, vintage cocktail glasses to old palmistry and claw machines found here. I'm a really picky antique shopper and it usually takes three or four trips to different stores to find something I want to purchase but this place is a Mecca and it's hard not to find at least one item that sparks an interest. A must when antiquing in Paso. Very friendly staff. Lots of unique items, especially if you are into jewelry. Most antique stores have a musty, dusty smell; not this one. The little store in the front carries Rae Dunn for all you fans. Got a Rae Dunn jewelry stand for my fanatic sister. read more

My parents and I stopped in and we go antiquing frequently, we were so impressed with the lay out of Relics Mall. Everything is easy to see and not cluttered. And the building is kept up to be clean so the antiques pop! We bought an orange julep can, all state can, salt and pepper shakers and a pitcher. It was amazing to see how this place brought out my parents memories of their childhood. It has a great homey feel! Highly highly recommend Relics. The owners, a husband and wife team, are super terrific, friendly and helpful! This antique mall has a great selection of vendors with something for everyone and at very fair prices too. The store is thoughtfully laid out and lots of fun to peruse. My husband and I live in San Francisco and travel to Los Angeles several times a year to see family. We make it a point to stop at Relics every time we drive through Paso and we almost always leave with something! I like antiquing in general but I like this place better, because what you buy is already refurbished/ready to go! The people there are really nice and fair with prices. The environment isn't dusty and cramped like most antique places. This place is well spread out and very clean. They are also a fairly trendy place featuring mid century modern, shabby chic, and whole bunch of other creative pieces. I used to love this store and have bought several items here until I recently brought my 7 year old son in. He was extremely well behaved, sitting on the floor, playing with a small toy. Noone was in the entire store (it was after school hours, midweek, dead). I was keeping my eye on him and about 12 feet away. The owners wife rudely established that he needed to be supervised (which he was....maybe she meant electronically, I don't use electronic babysitters, sorry sister!), and went on and on ~ and he was over the top well behaved, sitting still playing in a spot where he had about 10' space all the way around him and I could clearly see him (in the front south side of their shop. This is the first time I had ever met the owner/wife - sadly she is a nightmare. The owner has always been super nice, and David, well of course, all the long time antique people in Paso know David!! He's great!!! As a former downtown shop owner myself, & mainstreet committee member, etc etc I can't believe her level of unprofessionalism and rudeness to a 32 year long central coast resident. And my son was as quiet, still and well behaved as a mouse. She literally scared him, he came up to me and hugged me. Where have all the long time "nice" downtown Paso shop owners gone? So sad!
