This former bed and breakfast was turned into the local YMCA back in the 1920's. In the 1940's the gymnasium was added onto the home. The gymnasium has original hardwood floors and subway tiles. They use I'd guess about 3/4 of the space for display of goods. Prices were a bit higher then I expected. They do have some beautiful pieces. I'm just not sure worth the price. The owner was friendly. She along with the two other customers weren't wearing masks. I'm going to have to start getting use to that and assume they are vaccinated and not just... Nice shop worth a visit. There are some other beautiful house to look at in the area.

Note that this is a "Cash and Check Only" place, so if you find something you want, be sure to bring payment other than a card. This shop was family owned and a staple of downtown Brazil for over 20 years. They do consignment with additional vendors, but there aren't individual booths like at some places. Here, the shop owners do the places and keep track of inventory for all the merchandise. As I wandered through, I was occasionally checked on by the man who was working that day. He would point out things I might have missed and checked in to see if I was looking for anything in particular. There was a wide variety of items, including some furniture towards the back. I also found a room devoted to books and vinyl. There was a small nook that was for Christmas items. Lots of glassware, including small lamps, dishes, some other small collectibles were found throughout the store. While the employees were nice and the lighting was good, the number of antique was tiny. Most items were from the 90's and after. If that's what you like, you're in luck.
