Lamb salad
Ginger W.

This was a very lamb heavy meal. And I'd say 4 stars for both entrees, but would skip the lamb wontons. Just because you can fry something in a wonton skin, doesn't mean you should. It was underwhelming. But the lamb shank was great!! And we choose the "potato of the day" which was a cheesy, garlicy mess of deliciousness on the plate! The lamb salad had a nice yogurt dressing, lots of good veggies and feta cheese and the lamb was rare as requested. Overall eat lamb as intended here, and you'll be in good shape. We also both liked our beer and wine selections too.

Great local pub This popular local pub serves good gastro pub style meals and there is something on the menu for everyone. Our lamb shanks were excellent and melt in your mouth tender, the slow cooked belly pork was very tasty but a little bit dry. The sides of potatoes and vegetables were delicious and the portions generous. We were staying at the Stumpers Hotel and it was great to be able to walk next door for dinner - given the unpredictable West Coast weather.

Blue code (finest fish dish)

A good selection of food given the small town they are located in. Given we were close to the beach we went mostly with the seafood. The only non seafood was our appetizer "falafel stack" I would skip this order next time. The falafel is very soft the it crumbles when you try to eat it, feels like the falafel didn't get cooked enough. We went with "the southern island finest fish" which was a blue code during our visit. You get to choose between a full or a half meal which is basically two blue coda or one. We went with the full portion for $34. We substituted the fried with steamed vegetables. It was good specially the sauce that came with it. Our second order was the seafood platter which I highly recommend given that you taste all sorts of seafood in one dish, all of the food in that platter were tasty. Finally for dessert we went with the banoffee pie. It was good but not mind blowing. The ice cream was frozen so it was a bit hard to eat it with a spoon

This place is awesome! We went there for breakfast pastries and coffee the day after Christmas. The quiche was very flavorful. My son enjoyed his eggs, bacon, toast and yummy pancakes with blueberries. As he was enjoying his blueberry pancakes, he said he was in heaven. The cappuccino and vanilla latte hit the spot. The staff was very friendly

This was a great meal. I'm not saying I'd travel from the east coast of the United States to eat this meal. But it's not out of the question. Service... well you order at the bar. But really friendly and helpful staff. The food was seriously amazing. Grouper was the fish of the day and it was cooked to perfection . A chili sauce that did not in any way overpower the grouper. Everything was cooked perfect. Presented beautifully. I'd say I'd eat here again but I plan to tomorrow night. Remarkable meal. Excellent wine list too. So good.

The prices are too dear compared with other cafes around the town. Staff were lovely.

Had a great evening at Stumpers. Live music, locals and tourists all singing, dancing and drinking. Loved it!

Food had good flavor, but expensive. Steak was just average. Chicken a bit dried out. Nice atmosphere.

Stayed here while on a sales trip back in the day. Great place to stay with a nice little bar downstairs, which is a bonus.

What we were super happy about is that this cafe offers traditional diner/breakfast-y foods but they also offer Filipino breakfasts!! Matcha Latte 1.5/5 okay so,, there was negative matcha in this. However, it somehow ended up tasting like a chai latte?? Which I also like so while I did not mind it my rating is based on the lack of matcha Eggs your Way 4/5, solid egg breakfast, nothing super special but not bad and enjoyed the filling meal Filipino breakfast dish 5/5, ok so my friend forgot the name of this specific dish but, please note the photo below and show some staff if you would like to order. Unfortunately it was raining so didn't get to truly walk around and explore, but it is a quaint place with plenty eateries. We decided on Stone Oven bakery and cafe since it looked like a lot of locals were dining. I am so glad we came to eat here! The service has been so good and friendly. Chatting with the employees made me feel very welcomed. We ordered Hoki Breakfast (their version of egg's Benedict on sweet potato rosti), Fish and Chips, and Jenny Craig (Rich whipped cream in a bun that was covered in cinnamon sugar). Hoki Breakfast's sweet potato rosti was very nice! A wonderful twist to the traditional Benedict. Fish and Chips was so delicious! Fish was crisp, and really tender inside. Jenny Craig, surprisingly not that sweet, but very satisfying to eat. Loved the service and the food!
