Walking into the store in Pererborough, Ontario, I was in need of a new outfit for a special…read moreoccasion. I'd come from work and still in work attire. I was not greeted when I entered by the two sales ladies that were standing at the counter talking. One just looked my way and carried in the conversation about another woman loudly. I walked slowly around the entire store, perhaps 20 minutes of time elapsed. They conversed with each other the while time. I'm 40+ , looking for something that complimented my figure and didn't age me and I had questions and no knowledge of where to start. I left overwhelmed and uncomfortable. I am an approachable person, working class and was made to feel as if I didn't belong in the store. The worst customer service. I went home, and I shopped online. Not at reitmans sadly. Something that should have been a good experience that boosted my confidence and made me feel seen, resulted in disappointment.

Very good sales tactics by Samira inflated our price almost 15000$. The one payment packed item that really stands out is a 3700$ rustproofing charge that we did not want but fully charged for even tho Samira said it was practically free with all the discounts she was giving us NOT! The focus at this dealership is all about padding their pockets and emptying yours. Because of no resolution of this item by general managerDylan Laval or the 401 group of companies we have escalated this to OMVIC hoping they do an investigation into this dealerships sales tactics. Be aware of payment packing and watch your bottom line instead of your monthly payments. 10/10 to Samira for duping us into all the extras.

We said repeatedly we didn't want their expensive extended warranty or bogus "rust protection" ("It's only a few dollars a week." Making us do the math for the real cost). Yet they manipulated us into signing anyway. Yes, we should have taken the time to read the fine print on the many papers that were thrust in front of us and now we are stuck with a deal we don't want. They refuse to budge. Fine. Just be aware that this dealership is completely dishonest and lacking in integrity. The worst experience I have had in forty years of buying cars. Zero stars.
