I always find amazing high end clothes when I shop at this location. Great place to find some gems!

I am honestly extremely disappointed every single time I sell or buy here. The last few times I have dropped items off to sell I was told it would be 20 minutes. Usually over 45 mins+ is the time I find it takes. I completely understand that while working retail, things can get crazy; however, I would much rather appreciate honesty and be told it could be up to an hour (or more) before it is completed. I dropped off two items today. Both designer and one still had tags on it (a $500 shirt). Together, the items were over $700. The girl told me both were going to be accepted but she was going to text the owner because she wanted to make sure she was giving me enough money. Since the shirt was $500 and a couple years old, I wasn't expecting anything crazy, but when she told me all together for both of my items I was getting $20 I was livid. I think if the workers weren't talking about their $90 drop off at Plato's closet next door, I would have been less pissed about getting ripped off. The girl who was helping me texted the owner to get more money and she gave me another $4 for the shirt! So in total I got $24 and some change for two designer items on great condition. I'm honestly only giving them two stars since it is easier than selling on poshmark. read more

LOVE this place! I have found some awesome stuff here since they opened - brand new (with tags!) Lilly Pulitzer Amada Dress and Elsa top, flawless Lulu Lemon pants, J Crew dresses, adorable off brand dresses, and some glitzy J Crew statement necklaces! The employees are mega friendly and helpful. I have to say I prefer this store over Plato's as there is a higher quality of clothing (as opposed to some of the junkier so-called "trendy" items at Plato's that simply aren't for people over the age of 17). Selling can be a little crazy on the weekends but the wait hasn't been over an hour (about how long it takes me to get through the store anyway so it works out!). They offer pretty fair prices for things that I would've donated anyway so I am always happy to walk away with some extra cash. Love the punch cards too - one punch for every $10 you spend and once you get 20 punches you can redeem the card for 20% off your whole purchase. read more

Heard the employees making fun of my clothing as they sorted through the items I was selling. The employees should be more respectful of the customers feelings, and more aware that we can hear what they when they are chatting behind the counter. The manager Olivia dressed in a crop top and shorts so short you could see her bottom. She spoke so abruptly and poorly to the employees and me, but when a customer came in with an expensive item she gave them her full attention. All of the employees are new every time I go there which speaks for the store. Don't shop or sell here unless you want to sell or buy expensive items, or else no one will help you. read more

I shop here regularly. My entire professional wardrobe was purchased here. I always get compliments. There is no way that I could afford the clothes I buy otherwise. Here's the great thing, the inventory turns over quickly so you'll always find something you haven't seen. They are picky about what they buy, which is why there inventory makes for such great shopping! I love it. 5 stars all the way! read more

For a second hand store I feel that this place is very over priced. Especially for what they pay for your clothing (of what they accept). $22 for used Lula Roe leggings seems a little insane when they're $25 brand new. There's been several instances where I find a shirt that costs more than if it was on sale in the regular store--again. Unused. I would much rather go to Clothing Mentor where the staff is more helpful and mature, aren't standing around gossiping loudly and the prices and quality are better. read more

You might as well just throw your clothes out. This is supposedly business attire. Yet I brought 50 items and they took only a handful. Everything was in new condition and/or had tags and all were designer items purchased within the last year and a half. I was told "these labels don't sell here and we only take things between 1-2 years old." I didn't waste my breath trying to explain fashion and seasons to this 18 year old. Funny enough while I waited, I browsed the store. There were items so outdated-like 80's Spiegel or Newport News!! I only know about these cheap labels since mom got catalogs when I was younger. Don't waste your time or strength. Go to a hospital consignment shop. That way, even if your items don't sell, it'll go towards a good cause. read more

Despite what I have heard many say, both positively and negatively, my recent experience with the manager has made me never want to come to this store again. Olivia Topolski, not only dressed completely inappropriately as someone in charge, did nothing but flip her hair and type on her computer while there were several other employees frantically trying to get work done behind the counter, as it was incredibly busy when I went in. Additionally, within the 5 minute span that I was browsing around the front of the store, I observed her saying nothing but negative criticisms to the employees, all of whom appeared to be young girls still learning their jobs. If someone as disrespectful as that is in charge of such an establishment, I want absolutely nothing to do with it. read more

While I was warned before going in that even though the store advertises being friendly for plus size sales and trades I was told this was not actually the case from other women who tried to do so. I had some almost new items mixed with some of last years fall items (some with tags still attached) recent plus size pants, colorful skinny jeans jeans and modern ponte jackets. I'm pretty sure I know what's current and style as I'm a blogger and I work in plus size fashion industry as well. Our color story for fall in my place of work is Royal Blues, magentas and metallics.Maybe a 1/3 of the items I brought were accepted and that's fine but while I was in there for an hour waiting and looking around saw absolutely no stock available at all in plus size that I would even consider purchasing. Just some advice from a fellow business person: you need to take advantage of whatever you can to build up the plus size stock in your store because it appears you are not welcome or open to our business. Being that so many designers have stepped up their game and started working with plus size women and want their business news travels fast in blogs, circles and conversations. I have an entire store of customers I see on a very regular basis that I would have been excited to recommend your business too but at this time I would be unable to do so as it's obvious that our business is not actually wanted or desired in your locations. read more

The selection of clothes here was GREAT!!!! The employees however were not..... one employee in particular was Latisha. She was less than inattentive when ringing up my clothing and very passive aggressive toward the other employees working the registers. When I had asked her where the leggings were located she didn't even look and answer me, just pointed in a direction. All around she was very unprofessional, but despite the employee the store's collection was awesome I loved everything that I bought and I will definitely shop there again read more

The store looks great! I love how they have everything organized. I was watching the girls work diligently and so quite as they communicated with one another behind the counter. I browsed while I waited for my daughter to try on UGG boots they didn't have her size and the one offered to look in the back for her size. Very pleasant young ladies. I will definitely be coming back to Style Encore. My daughter even said, "mom do you think they would hire me?" read more
