The platform she uses for the booking process (GlossGenius) let's stylists remove any negative reviews from being visible to the public, not showing up for anyone to see. And by doing so to the review, it also hides the low rating she would normally have. So if you notice her rating, she has 5 stars across the board because the only reviews she makes public are the 5 star ratings. This is known as review suppression or review manipulation which in an incredibly deceptive practice. I will never be booking another stylist who uses this platform again for this specific reason. If you can't read their reviews on Yelp or on Google reviews (which she doesn't have) and only show reviews on smaller booking platforms then the reviews shouldn't be trusted. Bigger sites like Yelp or Google do not allow for these deceptive practices.

I found this incredibly unprofessional and off-putting. Whatever personal or professional issue he may have with someone else had absolutely nothing to do with me. I was a new prospective client reaching out respectfully and prepared to pay for his services, yet I was judged and essentially turned away based solely on an association with another person. To me, this interaction says a great deal about the level of professionalism and maturity I could expect as a client. Personal grievances should not be projected onto an individual who had nothing to do with them. I'm actually glad this happened before I entrusted him with my hair. Do note however if you have long hair they do charge you an extra $5 which is still a steal and amazing deal. After a great hair washing, followed by quick and efficient styling, I was in and out in almost 45 minutes. My style lasted throughout the night and most importantly, came out great in pictures! This will defiantly be becoming my go-to place for when I want a good blow dry and don't feel like doing it myself.
