Desternations include brussels and east midlands. The airport handles alot of private flights, and has several small private airlines based at the airport. Carcassonne airport is located to the west of the city, and is located a few miles from the city centre by bus service. The airport is also connected to several locations in the south of france, and these are also reachable by tran from the train station. TGV services operate from the station with several local services. Overall the airport is great to fly from, and as its very uncongested theres plenty of room unlike some large international airports.

We used RS transports for transfer in Paris for six people…read morethis week - from CDG to Disneyland, from Disneyland to Paris city and from Paris city to CDG. We were very happy with their service. Met us at CDG on time. They gave us a time fifteen minutes later than booked for the two last trips, so book a little earlier than necessary, just in case. But then they turned up just on time, even sent us a text when they were 3 min. away. They even took care of our luggage while we spent the day in Paris, for a small charge. We paid in cash to the driver. Had two different drivers, both very nice.

Deutschland war schon zu kalt, aber dort konnte man noch mit T-Shirt rumlaufen. Sehr hundefreundliche Region, wir konnten unseren überall mit hinnehmen. Das Haus war sehr sauber, alles neu renoviert und super ausgestattet. Neben einer vollständigen Küche hatten wir sogar eine Waschmaschine! Außerdem ist sie Vermieterin (deutschsprachig) sehr nett und hat auch vor Ort Ansprechpartner. Wir können das Haus, die Anlage und die Gegend nur empfehlen!

Otherwise it's a pretty small little airport that lacks any sort of amenities, save a unusually nice snack shop. That looks very new and is very nice with decent offerings of sodas, snacks, pastries, ice creams, coffees, etc. The rest of the airport is pretty dire. One small terminal with 4 gates. All flights board outside. Which is probably usually fine in the South of France but it was pouring rain before our flight and we thus spent the 1.5 hours back to London somewhat uncomfortable. Well, more uncomfortable than Ryanair ALREADY makes you! Of note - the only restroom facilities are BEFORE security so if you have to go, you've been warned. Car rental facility is on site and very convenient. Like I said, it gets you into southern France, so...you could have a worse situation in your life, I am sure.
