The dream team! From the Physical therapists, to the physical therapist assistants, to the massage therapists, to the front desk, everyone knows your name. I've been to other physical therapists and felt like I was just there to meet the bottom line but here's its truly different. Beyond the high patient care standards they have helped me get my body back. By body I mean movement. As I've gotten older I've had more musculoskeletal issues that have affected my movement and overall quality of life. Literally after only 1 month im feeling better / younger than I was 3 years ago. This is my second time at Suarez Physical Therapy 4 years apart. It is the same great service I remember from before. They are such a caring staff and want nothing but what's best for you. You always get one on one attention and they even escort me to my car after the appointment to make sure I get there without falling and assist me with putting my rollator in the car. Their front office staff is so incompetent. At my first call to set an appointment I was on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up to try another day. When I finally got through to schedule, their first opening was 3 weeks later. A few days before that appointment they called & left message that there would be no therapist here that day so I would have to drive to the Durango location. I refused to drive that far because of their mistake, so had to wait an additional 2.5 weeks to get in. Then when I finally get there, the front office asked what I was there for. When I said I'd been in a car accident & hurt my neck & back- then "well which one are you here for?" Don't they treat both? And did it really matter anyway since it was my first appointment & so an evaluation. Between the above & the rudeness about the paperwork, I should have followed my intuition & left. But no, I figured maybe it was just the office that was incompetent. Well, the therapist obviously wouldn't know how to help me since she just wanted to go through her checklist & ask what that exercise did pain-wise - where does it hurt & what level? Not a bad idea if we didn't have to rush through it so that I was still in pain from the 3rd movement back with no recovery time so that there was NO way to give any accurate answers. I guess the rush was that even though I showed up 1/2 hour before appt as requested to do the initial paperwork which took 15 minutes, I was waiting for 45 minutes past my appt time to see the therapist. I have been with friend's to their PT appts at other locations where the only time they are left alone is after their therapy while they are relaxing with ice packs. Here there were 2 other patients - one was lying on a table no ice or anything & another was doing a weight exercise - but both were alone. I do NOT ever plan on going back because I am not going to put myself in a position of them possibly doing more damage than I already have, nor do I ever want to see their rude staff again. Seriously when I called & cancelled my scheduled appt (over the 48 hrs in advance required). I immediately received a call about how I couldn't miss any "therapy" because I was being seen on an atty lien, so I needed to reschedule, when I said no, the rude witch said with a serious attitude "well, I'm going to call your attorney". GO ahead, because I can find another place that I will not never have to see that place or fools again. read more

All I have to say is Edwin Suarez physical therapy is a blessing to me and I think that anybody that needs to go therapy needs to definitely come check this place out. I don't think there's one staff member here that is mean or nasty everybody that I come in contact with in all three of his offices are great. read more

This is a place that really cares about their patients. They have an extremely organized and cleanly facility with knowledgeable staff who can plainly explain your condition and your path to recovery. I appreciate the one on one time spent with staff: everyone is really friendly and a pleasure to be around. We met Edwin in the hospital when my daughter was born with a condition that could not be initially be identified. It was an extremely scary time whereby we did not even know if she would live as she had a "failure to thrive". It became clear however that something genetically was not right and we were going to need extensive Physical Therapy. Edwin was there for us from the beginning and was consistent and supportive to our family not just in PT, but in what we were going through. We began going to his offices when she was born and for nearly a decade. the most amazing thing is our daughter show almost no physical indications that others with her condition show at her age. My daughter was born with a rare genetic disorder, and the first Physical Therapist we met was Edwin Suarez. He was kind, compassionate and CONFIDENT - which was instrumental in our lives given what we were facing. Edwin and his team helped us through a very challenging and trying time; we literally weren't sure if our baby girl was going to live or not. To have a perfect stranger walk into our lives with a sense of empathy and confidence that "everything was going to be okay" was a game changer for us. I called to get scheduled and I spoke to Jackie and she was very friendly she offered times at both locations to see which was better for me. Front staff would work with my schedule and if there wasn't the time I requested they would keep me in mind if anyone cancelled. Which they were able on certain days. The therapist was great and explained everything to me. I liked that they were very personable and cared about my day when I walked in for my appointment. I definitely recommend them. read more

5 STAR RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are receiving PT you are in need of mobility, functional range of motion and flexibility. We were so blessed the day we found Edwin Suarez PT! Having been at Matt Smith PT, and other smaller, much more horrible places, ESPT has been life changing. The other PTs were for my sons birth defect Arthrogryposis, focusing only on the contractures in his wrists, with only minimal attention to his legs as they were very functional. Unfortunately a botched surgery, left our then 10 year old son with severed sciatic nerves in both legs. He was in worse shape than ever. After having been in casts for a month and surgery repair, that didn't work, he was crippled worse than from the birth defect! Edwin's plan got him up in a stander, and walking on a treadmill with the assistance of a walker within about a month and a half. I was terrified, but Edwin was undaunted in his quest to allow Tyler to get back some semblance of mobility. To my amazement, he can now run! He steps up on 8" blocks and down again, he has stamina and has adopted Edwins never say "can't" attitude! He still has contractures in his knees, and we're dealing with that, but he's not in a wheel chair! Many other facilities, in this age of Medicaid refusals, would have certainly made it fiscally more beneficial for Edwin to deny Tyler and walk away to another patient with "good paying" medical insurance! WALK AWAY WAS EDWIN'S INTENTION, BUT IT WAS FOR TYLER, NOT HIMSELF!" This selfless man AND HIS AMAZING STAFF, have changed the outcome of Tyler's life! LIFE CHANGING 5 STAR RESULTS! I don't care what huge pretty building you might find another staff in, THE RESULTS ARE HERE, THE STAFF HAVE BECOME FRIENDS, THE FAMILIES ARE LOVED! This experience has forever touched my heart and the hearts of many others, EDWIN IS THE COMMON DENOMINATOR! Allowing him to work his magic, believing in his judgement and recommendations, IS THE SMARTEST DECISION YOU'LL EVER MAKE IN YOUR LIFE!
