Ooooohhhhhhh, aaaahhhhhhhhhh~ I love this store~ funky, playful, pinup style pleasures. And a good helping of punk-rock! I have only bought a couple items from here over the years- prices reflect just how hard it is to find this particular style anymore! I managed to snag a blackwatch tartan skirt from here last year! Good Irish tartan- the one my hubby wore at our wedding- he kilt it! lol sorry- anyway, the store! Always greeted right away and offered help upon entering (every single time I have been in this store- even when they were slammed at the holidays). Staff always is dressed to the nines- in attire that matches the store! Beyond the pinup skirts, dresses, shirts- they have a great selection of corsets, jewelry that is funky~ steampunk, gothic, playful & OMG~ the shoes! Kickass boots, crazy heels I could never wear and 50's style pumps for the less graceful in heels types like myself! I have my eye on the cherry skirt~ maybe next week! This store helps bring those visual fantasies of older style dress paired with a playful print to life! I swear this store is selling confidence with every outfit~ because you simply strut when you are dressed up like this! Work it girlfriend!

Lately, I've getting into vintage style clothing as well as been a long time corset fan and SC is the best for both! They have an amazing selection of stuff (wish I could afford to buy almost everything!) In my opinion, the best part of SC is people that work there. I went in there last week for a last minute pieces for my costume for the Harry Potter book release (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) and was looking for a corset (in my budget) and the sales gals helped me find one I could afford on the sales rack. Also, I had a very specific necklace I needed and had looked all over town for it and thought I was doomed, but one of the girls took the time to search the back and somehow magically produced it! I can not say enough about how great their service is..Literally, every girl working in the store assisted me in someway or engaged me in conversation. I'm not so great at names, so I had one of them write them down for me so I could do this review. So.. Thank you Simone, Ashley, Johanna, and Britney for all your help!

Alright. So. I have very mixed feelings about subculture. They've changed a LOT since they first started selling clothes at the avenues mall in FL (Idek if their store still exists there anymore)- At first it was amazing and the prices were somewhat expensive but worth it, yknow? But now, their prices have increased for absolutely no reason and their quality has gotten worse. They had so many cute and intricate items but they seem to be slowly turning into more of a semi-alternative bridal/dress shop and have gotten tackier??? In the beginning there were so many cute outfits for people, like me, who dress extra almost every day- lots of pinup, rave/stripper (which, from what it looks like, they've completely gotten rid of :/), gothic, and lolita clothes etc etc, along with a vast selection of demonias and pleasers + more (and that's not including the corsets). I mean like WALLS filled to the brim with this stuff and a very wide variety. But their selection has cut down so so much since then. The only consistent, redeeming quality they had was their wonderful employees who were always extremely sweet and were excited to help you out. The best hypemen out there lmao. It's a shame they've taken so many clothing options and a lot of originality away, pretty upsetting. I'll add some photos of the old clothes they had that I've purchased so you can compare them to the online shop.

I had to get my brides maid dress from here, the staff were so kind, helpful, and made sure I was happy with my dress.

Or if you understand the fashion industry. It borders on the high end. On average, a cute top might cost around $75, a pair of jeans [J Brand, Joes, Sevens, Citizen of Humanity, etc] might cost around $150, and a dress might cost about $175. But, I will say this, the quality is great and the styles are all very hip and fashionable. You definitely will get your money's worth. Honestly, a white tank top that costs $45 is going to fit a lot better, look a lot cuter, and last a lot longer than one that cost $15. I always go there when I am in need of some nice jeans. Just can't beat those brands! They always fit superbly and last forever. Worth the money. They also carry football team colors inspired clothing during football season, which is pretty cool. The clothes are a mix between hippie-chic and sophisticated preppy. Lots of choices, great fabrics, and nice brands. They also have some really nice jewelry and they also sell a few items for the home [candles, frames, etc]. And if you are looking for some undergarments, they have a selection of those, as well.

I am sure there may have been more on there than I am remembering. It was black beans and rice, wonderful avocado, lots of fresh cilantro, and protein of choice. I chose grilled shrimp-Marty chose chicken. These were served in compostable dishes. Everything was delicious. The only thing we noted is while our meat tasted great-it was barely warm. Maybe that is the norm? It was cooked-no doubt there and very tasty. I would go back. The place is very clean and because of the art murals and plants you get that outside kind of feel.

My fav thing about Crave...you know all those great labels you see in magazines, but can never find? So many of them under one roof! There was a huge selection of William Rast, James, Siwy, Prvcy, Genetic & more. There was a really great mix of both trendy & casual pieces, sexy cocktail dresses by BCBG, classic separates, and the best selection (& prices!) of Gypsy 05 I've seen outside of LA. This was my first experience in a boutique where, instead of being marginally acknowledged by the staff, I felt like I had a personal shopper instead. The owner, Robin, helped me find two amazing pairs of jeans based on my body type & style (William Rast's Bella Flare and Prvcy dark-wash skinny jeans). I even got my wedding dress here ;) I found a beautiful BCBG fitted white halter dress for our impromptu beach ceremony - it looks gorgeous in the photos, and the best part is, I can wear it again, dress it up, dress it down.... And I picked up a great Sir Alistair Rai scarf that is going to carry me into fall. I totally agree with Cari S's review...the jewelry was to die for. By Boe, Melinda Maria, Alex & Ani, and some fantastic pieces by a NYC designer under the label Boheme. Even my husband, who generally doesn't enjoy shopping, found some great pieces for himself a couple of great English Laundry shirts & some- the men's wear is really thoughtfully chosen IMO - cool and unique, but not over-the-top trendy. And there was a great "small" gifts section with candles, perfume, soaps, etc. Overall, amazing selection - have already marked some pieces for fall to order online!
