I went here to get my septum pierced. I met Alex right away. He's incredibly personable but also very serious about his job. He checked my nose to ensure that I had the correct anatomy for the piercing. Then he sterilized everything for the piercing. He explained the sterilization process. He showed me all of the papers that confirm the items were sterilized properly / etc. He took his time to ensure I was comfortable throughout the process and he was very meticulous on ensuring he got the piecing in just the right spot. I will ALWAYS suggest people go to him for a piercing - if they're looking for one. If my children ever want their ears pierced, I'm not sure there is anyone I could trust outside of Alex! read more

Awful place. They don't honor their store hours. The doors will just be locked even though they advertise as open. No one answers the phone. Piercer leaves early or is never there. I tried to get a nose piercing 3 times in one week with no luck. I finally went up the road to About You Custom Tattoos and they did FANTASTIC for half the price. I took my daughter tonight to change her nose piercing for a small one and the 2 guys inside the shop totally ignore us. My daughter was sitting on the coach and heard the guy say that that they hope she leaves the store. I went outside the store to talk to my husband when my daughter comes out and told me what they said. I called the store and when they realize it was us calling the store they hangs up. They did my daughter first nose piercing and we didn't expect for them to act the way they did . This is not how you treat your customers. Parents beware ! This place is the worst and I will be telling all my friends and family about the way we where treated. read more

I show him what I would like, we review the work and then he goes to town. Everyone that work there is weird and crazy in their own way and that is why it works. Tom is THE best piercer!!!!! He's so knowledgeable and willing to educate!! He definitely knows what he's talking about and takes his job very seriously. He won't pierce you just to take your money. He's always very honest on if the piercing will work out or not based on your anatomy. I pierce ears at Claires and whenever someone comes in asking for a piercing we don't do I send them his way. In the area this is the best you can get. I've gotten two tattoos done here, both by Babin. The work is okay, both tattoos I've gotten are messed up. My first was a snake and skull, there are parts where the snake body doesn't line up right. At the head the snakes tongue is coming out from behind the head instead of from in the mouth. There is another part where some of the shading goes outside the outline he put down. My other was a small hand tattoo, my first color tattoo. The shading isn't right. Where the light colors and dark colors are placed it just doesn't make sense where the light is coming from. Some of the line work on my hand tattoo is a bit sloppy. None of this is egregious, but it lacks the quality of a outstanding tattoo. The artists there seem like really cool people. I say seem as both times I've gone they do little to interact with the customer and mostly joke around with themselves. Still it's the best you can get in the area. So until I find something better I am stuck with Subculturez. read more

Tom is very knowledgeable about everything he does and will always be honest. I've gotten 5 piercings from him and he's done a piercing for my sister and best friend. I actually got my first tattoo here about 5 years ago, so when I wanted to get my nose re-pierced, I decided to go here. I interacted solely with Charlie and he talked to me in detail before he even put on gloves. I had my nose pierced a few years ago, so he first checked to see if the hole was still there instead of just sticking a needle in my nose. Surprise, surprise, there was still a hole and he didn't have to re-pierce it. Charlie went this route even though it wasn't as expensive as actually piercing it. I have been going here since I was 16 with my mother, missy was the tattoo Artist that did my tattoo and my mother's tattoos, I was sad to hear that she was leaving but I figured I would give the shop another chance, so my mother and I went to Omar to get our new tattoos, while I got just script, my mother got a bigger piece. Her tattoo never healed completely, my tattoo healed but every time that I am warm or nervous the script will automatically raise where the tattoos that I got from Missy never did and healed perfectly fine, my mother tattoo is constantly peeling skin and it's been over six months, the coloring turned out horrible and the design is not at all what she had explain with the picture. I just went a week ago not even to get a tattoo for my birthday, with my boyfriend who also got a tattoo, Babbin was the one Who completely messed up my tattoo and went so far deep into the skin that I can barely move my foot, so I went to another tattoo artist and he explained that it was dug in really deep in the healing process is going to take a long time, he said he hoped there would be no scarring but they are willing to cover it up. I have no idea where Babbin came from or where he learned his artistry but it is absolutely terrible when he said he was done there was color missing and when I asked for more depth on the tattoo he made dark gruesome lines. Just a bit of advice for those who are going to subcultures or thinking about doing so I will just let you know not to go to Omar or Babbin, Babbin has completely ruined my tattoo and I am now going to get a cover-up as soon as possible because I cannot stand to look at this. The other tattoo artist even said that he had no idea what Babbin was thinking and couldn't distinguish what the tattoo actually was when all it was was supposed to be mermaid scales and it looking like it was underneath the skin as if it was a torn out kind of look. read more
