Please explain to me why I now have inch long bangs hair that does not touch my shoulders. My ends look like my hair was cut with a knife. In the picture clearly bangs are covering her eye lids, and the length is past her shoulders. I can not go in public. This is humiliating. My bangs are over 1 1/2 inches above my brow line, I cannot believe I look like this. I will be sending you the bill for a wig. Worst experience of my life. read more

If you like your hair, DO NOT GOTO SEPULVEDA HAIR STUDIO! They straight up ruined my blonde hair. I will attach pictures and let me just tell you they do not compare to what the entire thing looks like. I went on Saturday the 22nd of june to get a copper with blonde highlights and a dusty root and i came home looking like a god damn zebra with idek how many colors are in my hair. I showed the stylist a picture and straight up said i want exactly this. When we called for a refund they wanted to argue with us and belittle us. (My fiance and I) needless to say they need to refund me the 340$. Its going to cost me between 200-400 to fix my hair. Im sooo angry this was for my wedding and my hair is absolutely ruined. The copper color is what i asked for and as you can see it looks absolutely nothing like what i asked and was told they could do. read more

I'm just so disappointed when I went here NO ONE was wearing a mask and no one even cared about COVID or anything. My hair looked okay when I left I was there for 9 HOURS so obviously I was just ready to leave at this point. My hair looks NOTHING like the photo I showed her the first photo of what I showed her and the second photo is my hair, it has such horrible unnatural high lights and IT COSTS 450$ which is just crazy. I'm just so disappointed they all were really nice and friendly but I will most definitely not be going back my hair is just ruined and I don't have another 450$ to get it redone so. :/ read more

I've been seeing Aimee for a couple of seasons now after being a newbie to Florida. And you don't know what Florida does to your hair till you move down here! Aimee has helped me to love my hair again and is very helpful about getting me on a schedule for alternating coloring the grays, highlights, and cuts. I'm absolutely loving my hair now! I have never been so excited and appreciative to be able to "RedeemTheQuarantine" than by visiting my "HairGod" David Sepulveda @SepulvedaHairSalon in DeLand,FL today! Not only did I "get my sexy back" happy hair, it was great to see old friends. The salon continues to take every decontamination and cleaning process step seriously to protect customers and staff health. The music was great and the conversation upbeat as always. Grey hairs are gone, 80's hair sent back from the future and I feel happier in controlling what I can control. read more

This review is solely based on price. They advertise two dollar signs, but I find that way lower than what they charge. This place charges $50 for a haircut even if you don't get a blow dry and style. read more

I recently moved to deland and chose this salon bc they had great reviews. After going for several haircuts and dye jobs, I was very disappointed after this last experience. The cut has always been good, no issues there. The color is where the issue lies. I went in to get a full color but it washed out of sections of my hair. So I called and they had me come back in. They re did the color and convinced me to buy a $30 conditioner to help maintain the color. After 2 washes the exact same thing happened. They assured me after the second time the color would stay, but it the exact Same thing happened. I won't be going back. read more

On Friday 5/11/18 my daughter was scheduled to have a requested hair style for her 8th grade dance. After waiting over 90mins past our appt time and unfortunately after two attempts at a waterfall braid my daughter was upset not only because of the final out come of her hair but she missed pictures with all of her friends. Knowing we had to redo her hair when we returned home and prevent any further frustration for my daughter we paid and also gave a $10 tip. I posted a review on social media and I have provided only one of many responses the owner and another stylist of Sepulveda Salon posted. They decided to attack my oldest daughter and her company she is associated with due to her having a large following. It is unfortunate this company doesn't allow people to write honest reviews. Sepulveda states they do not like working with high schoolers and he is comfortable with posting inaccurate information - one being even being unhappy I left her a $10 tip which is on my receipt and he posted I left a penny. He has also chose to disregard the unsatisfied customer ( we provided a picture on our phone of what my daughter wanted which he stated we were unsure of what we wanted when we walked in) and attack my oldest daughter. When I walked into the Sepulveda Hair Studio in downtown DeLand, FL, I was dazzled by the beautiful venue! It's out of Architectural Digest- creatively appointed, classy, comfortable. Jackie is one of the best if not THE best stylist I have ever experienced. I walked in as a new customer- and my hair was a DISASTER. My hair had been severely damaged several weeks ago in Southern California, perhaps by coloring that was harmful, or too hot of a curling iron on my part. Not sure. In any case, Jackie COMPLETELY fixed/healed my hair! I thought it would take a year for my hair to be "corrected" and look good again. But Jackie skillfully trimmed off the damage and used products that made my hair beautiful again. She also matched the color to my natural color- she was the first stylist in years to properly do a color match! I can't say enough about Jackie and Sepulveda Hair Studio. I'm very impressed and very happy. I highly recommend this salon and highly recommend Jackie. Also, she's fun to talk with which makes the time fly. THANK YOU SO MUCH! David has been styling my hair for over 5 years. No matter what crazy idea I come up with he always gives me the most beautiful color and haircuts. And thanks to the Oway products my hair doesn't get damaged! The salon is beautiful and the staff are knowledgeable, stylish and friendly. I'm always offered a variety of beverages and snacks. There are also beautifully arranged fresh flowers in the reception area at every visit and I always make sure to apply a dab of the Oway hand lotion sample at the desk on my way out. I was referred to Sepulveda salon by a friend and i had the best experience ever there. Robin was extremely knowledgeable when it came to hair color and toning and I literally walked out of there looking like a million dollars. I'm so happy with my color and cut. Finally found my new salon!! Moving from NY to Florida I have been searching for the perfect salon- I found it today. Robin knew how to cut my curly hair perfectly. The salon is fresh and modern and the products they use are all organic. They are more than just hairdressers- they are artist and they take their craft very seriously. I came in with a picture and it involved cutting a lot off of my very long hair- Robin told me step by step what she was doing and why and I am very happy with the end results. You may pay a little more than your average salon but the results are totally worth it ! read more

I have been here before to do my eyebrows and mustache and they were great, good service, good job and affordable. However, I went recently to do my nails and I had a completely different experience, the girl was very nice but she did a terrible job with my nails. They were not straight at all, you could see my real nail on the side and they were painted badly, I paid 45 dollars for this service and would never do it again. I would not recommend anyone to do their nails there but other than that other services are very nice. read more

Just moved to the area last summer. Saw the location in downtown and was interested in organic haircare. I have been back twice for cut and color. Happy as could be with results. Nina is amazing. I'm really picky but she just does her thing and it comes out great. The products are so wonderful. I've bought them all and I NEVER do that.
