Even when there is a full class or a spread in experience among people in the class we receive a great deal of personal attention from Sifu Rick and the other instructors. It is a very supportive environment that still treats you as an independent adult and encourages you to push yourself to new levels of physical fitness and skill in whatever form you are working to learn at the moment. The sense of welcome among the existing students and positive environment also make it a place we look forward to going several times a week. If you like a very structured program, the progression for the belts and levels is well laid out and there is a lot of history and background of the styles worked into the classes. The instructors are also open to questions and are great about discussing and demonstrating practical applications of the katas and forms you learn at each level. While we do not have any children ourselves, we have also been impressed by what we have seen of the children classes and the instructors' ability to move from teaching the children to teaching the adult classes. The school offers regular classes in both Kung Fu and Tai Chi, spread over both evenings, afternoons, and weekends, which has made it easy to fit in our schedule. It has also been incredibly affordable and the school is very transparent about where the costs exist for both monthly fees, testing costs, and equipment. We look forward to progressing into the weapon katas and more advanced forms and would highly recommend this school for anyone looking to increase their physical fitness, work on their health and general well being, or just learn something new!

It is less flashy, i.e. you won't see very low or exaggerated stances like those in the movies, but it is effective, and barriers to entry are essentially non-existent. Sifu Rick is a talented teacher and a practitioner, and cares a lot about his students and their progress as martial artists. I highly recommend the school, and the art, to everyone - it's great for your body and your mind, whether you are 7, 70, or anywhere in between.

**5-Star Review for Peacekeeper Martial Arts**…read more Peacekeeper Martial Arts is more than just a place to learn how to kick or punch--it's a transformational experience for children. What makes this program truly stand out is its powerful blend of martial arts training and biblical philosophy. The instructors go beyond physical techniques; they instill *self-discipline, confidence, respect, and moral values* grounded in Scripture. From the moment your child steps onto the mat, they are taught not only how to defend themselves but also how to walk in strength and integrity. Every lesson includes life skills and principles rooted in biblical truth--reminding students of their purpose, identity, and the importance of character. Children at Peacekeeper gain a solid foundation in self-defense while learning life lessons that will carry them far beyond the dojo. This is a place where kids grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically in a safe and uplifting environment. I can't recommend it highly enough for any parent looking for a well-rounded, values-driven program that strengthens both body and soul. Great work Sensei!

I was told equipment will be provided then the day before the class i find out that i actually need to buy it all myself because it's "not guaranteed." Not what i was told at the beginning but okay (i have texts to prove it too). It seems like whoever is in charge of responding to peoples questions and concerns doesn't really care if you're not apart of the gym already. Not sure if that's what's going on for sure, just how it feels after being ignored and getting a lackluster or no response at all. THAT'S NOT EVEN THE WORST PART. I'm a total beginner. I have made that very clear from the beginning and i think i have asked which Muay Thai class is the beginner class (because you guys have 3-4 of them at different times) because obviously I dont want to go into an intermediate class when, again, I'm a beginner. You think you'd want to answer this question relatively fast so someone doesn't get hurt but i guess thats not the case here. I thought i found a good gym and one that was close to the house but i guess it's back to finding a new gym.

The school emphasizes on building strong leaders and maintaining the "old school" manners I grew up with. The school brought in a more experienced instructor about 5 months ago and he is AWESOME! As parents, we believe in his style of instruction and his expectations from his students. If you are tired of hearing kids these days answer "yeah" and "uh huh" when asked a question, you will love this school for your children and their friends! You should expect to make an investment in your child as this is not a fly by school. We have met the creator and owner of Victory and share his beliefs. We have met children wearing other martial art school shirts and asked about the school and they were mostly after school programs designed to babysit and keep students busy until mom and dad could pick them up. While that is ok, Victory is not that. Mr. Soliz can help you with free classes to try out the program first but you will love it! The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because we need more seating! Haha ;)

There was no enrollment fee or registration costs. Due to closures, the last day my daughter did a lesson was March 12, 2019. The site closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I was advised on April 20ththat the time missed would be added to the back end of the year . During the time the site was not doing classes and prior to the studio re-opening. I got an opportunity that was invaluable to me and we moved. We were apparently outside of bounds from any affiliate locations and unable to continue with VMA. Per section 28 of the contract means that I should have been refunded any remaining time on my contract minus a $150 cancelation fee. After much scrutiny, they finally processed my refund, but they only refunded me $985 with no clear explanation of how they came up with that number. There is nothing in the attached contract that justifies that reduction either. I should have been refunded $2018 but I was shorted $1033. $2600 / 12 months = $216 a month $2600 minus $432 for 2 months = $2168 (1/27 -3/27 even through last day was 3/12) $2168 minus cancelation fee of $150 = $2018 $2018 minus $985 (amount already refunded) = $1033 (disputed amount) I tried to rectify this with the site coordinator Mr. Price. He stated he was unable to refund this additional amount and it is not fair. As it stands, I paid $1615 for 2 months of classes. Please do not use this company and if you do definitely DO NOT PRE-PAY!!!!
