I stayed at this hotel for a week, checking in on a Thursday. That night (technically Friday morning) at 4 am, a black man came knocking on my door on the third floor, saying, "Hey, what you got?" It sounded as if I was being woke up to what sounded to be a drug deal, which frightened me. I complained to the managers about it, and the Regional Maintenance Manager told the managers on duty to comp me the night, and I felt better after their sincerest apologies. That night, at two in the morning, I was woke again by the people in the room across the hall playing loud music and having a party. Soon thereafter, the Cobb County Police Department came, loudly knocking on the door of said room, at which point, one of my the occupants came out and was told to keep it down, which he did until no less than seven black men and women came streaming out, talking loudly and once again disturbing my slumber. The next morning, the cheap stucco in the bathroom fell into the floor and sink as I used the bathroom. I took pictures of the fallen debris, and showed them to the front desk and even emailed them to the manager, who had given me her card the day before when I was woke by the drug addict. I also told them that there was obviously no way to find rest, which was the reason I payed hundreds of dollars for a week's stay. Shelley, the luckless receptionist on duty apologized, and told me she would move me as soon as possible because it was Valentine's Day, and I had hoped to have my children visit for a little while that day, and the debris and disturbances had made that impossible, not to mention that I had a date planned that evening. At three, she moved me to a slightly larger room, and told me that there would be no charge for the upgrade due to the ceiling. At four, the night receptionist came on duty, called my room to inform me that I did indeed needed to pay for the upgrade, and because my girlfriend was with me I immediately said I would be down to do so with all due haste. Moments later, the night shift receptionist came knocking at my door, asking if I had moved to said room (which she had just called and the door I was answering), which seemed ludicrous at best. Then she demanded that I pay the $30 for the upgrade, immediately or leave. I offered my card to her and told her I had company and that we were leaving for Valentines dinner soon, and I would sign for the upgrade as we departed. She then raised her voice and ordered me to immediately sign for the up-charge. Now completely humiliated & without any good option, I told my Valentine that I would quickly return. On Monday, I asked when my check out date was ( expecting it to be Friday, per the Regional Manager's bidding on Friday morning) and was once again dismayed to find that the comp had yet to be put into the system. Tuesday morning I was able to speak to the managers that were present on Friday morning, and they reluctantly gave me the one night comp promised on Friday morning. They listened to my complaint about their incredibly rude employee, but racked her behavior to a misunderstanding (not unprofessionalism) and told me that that horrid receptionist would be working that night, which made the rest of my stay awkward and uncomfortable throughout. On Wednesday night, seven Cobb County Police officers were at a room beside me, making noise as they banged on the door, demanding the occupant to answer. I opened the door, not realizing from inside my room the racket was from law enforcement and just looking to see what all of the commotion was, and upon seeing seven of them standing at one door, excused myself, then, another officer tapped me on the shoulder from behind me, frightening me enough to make me jump, as he said, "Are you having a good time in there? I can here your music," as he got in my face to intimidate me back into my room as if my cell phone's speaker could possibly disturb anyone, which is typical of the bully cops we all know and love. On Friday morning, as I departed, a long-time resident told me that the hotel's guest list was daily and voluntarily given to CCPD to be ran against their wanted persons lists because the week before $40,000 worth of drugs and firearms had been confiscated from one room the week before. I don't know if my personal information had also been disclosed, but my attorney may be able to find out. Another guest told me she had received a free night due to being a meal for the bed-bugs. The police were there several times a day, a fact which amused my girlfriend, but appalled me when I realized that this seemingly benign inn was infested with cops chasing crooks. I couldn't bring my kids here, too much for them to handle, and I feel great pity for the multitude of elderly and minor guest whom must endure this hell. The wifi only occasionally works poorly. The water is never hot. Sleep under a bridge before you sleep here.

This has to be the worst Choice Property, I've ever stayed at. I'm giving them two stars because the lady who checked me in was super nice and sweet. Sooo...to start off, I booked this room for Super Bowl Weekend, because I didn't want to pay jacked up prices because it's Super Bowl Weekend. What I didn't know was, I was going to get a room that smelled horrible, didn't have any hot water, and was going to have to deal with a front desk person who acted like a hoodrat. I didn't have time to complain on yesterday, because I had somewhere to be by a certain time and after driving 12 hours, I just wanted to take a nap. This morning I called the front desk, and was told by Melissa (or whatever her name is), that because it was cold outside, the water wouldn't get hot until after 30 minutes. I informed her that it was nearly 60 degrees outside, so that wasn't a reason to NOT have any hot water. So, she said she would send maintenance up, needless to say, maintenance still hasn't shown up. My husband went to the front desk and said another guest was complaining about not having any hot water, and she was telling him the same BS. I ended up going down, to see about getting some sort of compensation for the inconvenience and she told me that they don't do that here! LIES!! As a Diamond Member, I know what Choice do and don't do. So, maybe she should be retrained or fired because I don't think she wanted to be at work today. Her attitude was garbage and clicking your fingernails as you talk to people, typically gets your ass slapped. I ended up calling Choice Guest Relations, and was told someone should get back with me by the end of the day, annnd it's now 11pm, and I haven't heard from anyone. Goes to show how the owner and GM feels about their guest. I guarantee I won't stay here again. I truly regret spending my money here. Housekeeping didn't come, there isn't even an iron or ironing board, so now I have to walk around wrinkled . Beware of this place!! Oh! One more thing, the towels that are provided in the kitchenette, needs to be replaced. They look disgusting. Oh! I forgot to mention the roach that was in the toilet when we first got to the hotel. Then tonight, there was another one crawling on the toilet seat. I wish I would've read the reviews prior to booking a room here.

They claimed they wouldn't clean my room in 2 weeks

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. They refused to clean my room and said they could only clean it every 2 weeks on Thursday because of the virus going around. I understood but I eventually ran out of toilet paper. I went to the front desk and they refused to give me a roll they said I had to wait until my cleaning day. So fine, had to buy my own roll. Cleaning day finally came and no one came. I called the front desk and asked if anyone was coming as I was told they were coming that Thursday. They said we only have 2 housekeepers they'll be there tomorrow. So I said fine. The next day came and still no one. I called again and they tell me they're coming next Thursday. I said but I was told they would be there today? She goes sorry they only come Thursdays. I said fine. Once again I waited for the following Thursday and still no one arrived. I called and asked is anyone coming to clean my room again. Once again the front desk tells me there's only 2 housekeepers they'll be there tomorrow. I said you know I keep getting the same story over and over are you sure they're coming?? Before I could even finish my sentence she loudly says they'll be there tomorrow thank you! Ofcourse at this point I was angry and I went off on her. Come to find out this was actually the manager!! She was so nasty over the phone I was so shocked! I've worked as a front desk agent at hotels before and as a hotel employee if a customer is unhappy you have to help them as much as you can or atleast meet them halfway. She did NONE of that. I would have been happy if she just got me new towels or had someone pick up my overflowing trash but she did NOT even try! Finally someone came the next day to "clean", came in afterwards and the tables were still dirty as well as the floor. Basically the only thing she did was clean the bathroom and made the bed. Judging by how my room was "cleaned" I doubt the sheets were new. On top of the horrible service, there were roaches in the room. Just look at the video of my overflowing trash and the pic of the same roach! Gross hotel no wonder there are so many bad reviews!! Just some advice to the manager, learn how to speak to your customers!!! It is amazing how that woman ever got a job in customer service when she sucks at what she does! Horrible experience..

We were greeted by a very friendly clerk who welcomed us and gave us our Honors treats. Our room was clean and had all the amenities necessary except a micro wave. It had a small fridge which was nice, but a micro wave would have been handy to have. It is a very quiet location. Breakfast in the morning was fair. The hot offering was eggs, potatoes and sausage. The eggs were tasteless and waterery. They were sitting in water. The potatoes were also tasteless. The sausage was the only thing that was actually edible. We were also disappointed that they did not offer the Fresh Baked Cookies that most Hamptons do. We will return to the other Hampton location on our next trip through.

Due to a series of roads with concrete dividers, from at least two directions you end up driving two or three blocks before you can find a place to turn around and get into parking lot.
