There's a real lack of reviews online for good podiatrists, and so I decided to share my experience to help others who may be experiencing anything foot or ankle related: I'm 27 and literally 10 days after my 27th birthday I fell over my dog and broke some tiny bones in my foot. Of course, I went to the hospital in pain and was told I was fine - no breaks. Then I went to my week follow up and was told I was "babying it" and needed to start walking on it. None of these docs had solid reviews online, so I blindly trusted them until my large toe went completely numb. The pain was awful! I went for a third and then fourth opinion and was ignored, told my foot was fine after X-ray review, and then sent for an MRI. Doctor #4 didn't explain what happened to me or what to do. He then wrapped my foot and said to stay off it and to make another appt (which took 3weeks to coordinate) all the while I had no idea what to do. In comes my boss who recommends Dr. Kania!! My first visit he clearly saw there was an issue with the foot. He reviewed my MRI and had me do a standing X-ray (where you could see more). He explained to me that it's hard to see the breaks because of the layers of bone in the foot. Standing for the X-ray allowed him to see one break clearly and the other somewhat clear. He put me in a soft cast, wrote me a note for Lollapalooza so I could still attend in a wheelchair (after nearly 2.5 months of suffering, I finally found a really awesome podiatrist) Dr. Kania worked with me for 2/3 months helping me find solutions to attend my friend's wedding, Lolla, and used laser therapy to help reduce pain and swelling in the foot. We met nearly weekly until the X-ray showed I was doing better. He was excellent at explaining the X-rays, all my options, and coming up with solutions! Even after I was doing better, Dr. Kania and his awesome office assistant, Christine, were always available via phone to answer questions I had. I cannot recommend them enough! My last visit was in January because of swelling after working out maybe a bit too hard and wearing bad shoes. Christine worked to get me into the office the same week and Dr. Kania examined my foot carefully, took an X-ray just to be sure all bones were still ok and then saw it was doing well but suggested better shoes/not over exerting until I felt better. As a runner, spin cyclist, hiker I love being active and this injury was not easy. Dr. Kania and the lovely Christine really helped turn things around for me! I didn't like being broken (no one does) but they truly made the experience manageable. I'm healed up pretty well now and I owe it to them! I can not recommend them enough, and I hope this review helps guide ppl that way!

Unfortunately, the office staff are absolutely terrible. On my first visit, the women were having a loud personal conversation thru the walls. One sat at the reception desk, the other in her office, and they just went on and on about their personal problems. The front desk woman was in training and when I asked questions about my care, she told me she didn't know. On my second visit, her trainer was present so I followed up with my questions thinking she'd have the answers. They both gave me attitude as if I was inconveniencing them for asking. Of course, neither of them would provide me much help. So aggravating, rude, and unprofessional. Same experience as all other reviews, they recommended that I come 2x per week. When they were pushing to schedule the following week's appointments, I decided to hold off until I received my first round of bills. Glad I did and also decided not to return. The treatment costs add up fast and it's definitely not worth dealing with the office staff.

I found a new podiatrist and found out that I had been receiving long time treatment for something I did not even have. I knew I had to find a new podiatrist when Dr. Vekkos came into the room where I was undergoing a VERY painful treatment and told the other doctor to stop because my crying was "not fair to the other patients." Seriously???? It took almost a year to fix the issue, but I am VERY satisfied with my new podiatrist and will NOT be returning.

My greatest fear prior to coming here was that I was 1) going to be rushed out of the office and 2) have the Dr. tell me something I could have Googled, which is not satisfying especially if you have to wait for weeks for an appt. Both the receptionist/front desk employee and Dr. Coscino were extremely professional and warm. The Dr. was able to explain everything clearly, offer options and made me feel less like a potato when I explained that I couldn't exercise for fear of worsening the condition of my foot. The only downside is that their office hour is a little wonky and they're not open everyday. Definitely make an appt as soon as you can. This place is right across from Pete's Fresh Market.

Before her appointment, I was very concerned about severity of her injury and after the first follow up dr wouldn't even open the bandage, they sent us to see Dr George. After the delay in the first appointment, I wanted to be assured we were heading to the right doctor. So as I read the profile of Dr George, I felt more confident in what I was reading about his experience and when I read he treats patients like a member of his family that struck me as a power sign we were in good hands. Dr George always took the time with my mom, addressed EVERY fear, helped us all to laugh about something to ease the anxiety about the healing process but he was always very cautious, confident and calm. I can say after weekly follow up appointments for 10 weeks, we were going through stressful times but what was the best outcome with Dr George expertise and guidance, needless to say we are just so thankful for Dr George! I had horrible pain, shooting up my foot that had started a few days prior that I was desperate to get rid of. I was able to locate their office without a problem (they are next door to Baked Apple Company) and there was plenty of parking. The registration process was simple, as I was able to fill out my forms online and I was seen soon after my scheduled appointment time. Unfortunately, my foot issue required a few months of physical therapy but I never had a problem finding an appointment that worked with my schedule, even if I had to cancel last minute. I was seen by Dr. Rembos as well as the 2 other doctors (Dr. P & Dr. J) in his office and they all provided excellent care and had terrific bedside manners. I always felt heard and they always answered any questions I had. I am confident I located the best podiatrist office around and highly recommend Dr. Rembos and his team.
