The food is usually always well cooked though and if you have a problem (eg they forget to include something) they will put it right with little fuss. They do have a drive through too, so you can even take food home (remember to stick a coolbag in the car - yes I know you want your food to stay hot but a coolbag, minus the icepacks, will usually do the trick). If sitting in and having one of their bucket meals, don't forget to get the paper plates and cutlery too.

A chinese reataurant that have a cheap buffet.The only reason I ever agreed to go here is because…read moremy Partner loves buffets!Be warned that while the servers are extremely nice,the manager does NOT like children.I think this is due to the fact that kids under 5 eat free.I have a 2 yr old & a 3 yr old,both of which are very well behaved.I don`t allow them to waste food or behave badly in any eating establishments and have NEVER received any complaints about them.We have been to this restaurant on a few occasions but NEVER again.There is not a lot of choice on the buffet.The food is not hot,just warm.It consists of chips,rice and a few standard "takeaway" dishes.There are prawn crackers,chicken wings/balls and ribs for starters.The dessert is jelly & ice-cream.The interior is dark with a lot of mirrors (probably so they can watch you from all angles).The floor has grubby carpet.The tables have dusty fake flowers and paper tablecloths over fabric ones. The manager is an extremely annoying man,who watches everything you are doing.He stands behind you at the buffet and walks about in circles which makes me feel extremely uncomfortable.The staff are pleasant but he spoils it.I am scared to eat a lot.My children are fed of my plate as I fear he will say something if I give them too much.They wouldn`t eat a lot anyway.I give them my portion of dessert.In my opinion,if they are not happy with kids eating for free then they should charge! The final straw came on our last visit.When we finished and paid,I took one of my children to the car.My other child needed the bathroom,so my Partner took him.On the way out of the bathroom,my Partner and young son were accosted by the manager.His words were "next time,make sure your kids don`t get ice-cream on the table cloths because it means we have to change them".They are PAPER table cloths.My children didn`t even mess them!!It was an embarrassing attempt by this horrible man to assure that we wouldn`t be back.I was so angry,especially because he made sure that I had paid the bill and left the restaurant BEFORE he had his uncalled for rant at my partner.I wanted to go in and complain but didn`t in the end.I`m not broken-hearted and its not worth it.The food isn`t great and to be honest I just want out of there from the minute I go in.Trust me,give this place a miss.You really aren`t missing anything!!

For low prices, and as an alternative to the likes of Subway, then this is the place to go. Good…read morechoice of fillings for sandwiches, toasties, paninnis etc. A few seats available downstairs, but if you don't want those in the queue watching you eat, then head upstairs.Big but and what stops me giving 5 stars is,the queue can build up and service is not as efficient as it could be. Staff 'work across/through' each other. That is, if one is making up your sandwich and someone else besides you orders from another member of staff, then both are crossing each others path whilst trying to prepare the sandwhiches, unlike in say Subway were it is more of a 'conveyor belt' system, wherby your sandwich is passed along for next bit of filling to be added. This can then also cause problems at till. Tip: check out their soup. It is usually excellent and they vary what is available. *NOTE* Shuters were down when I passed this shop on 16/12/08 - not sure if it has closed down.
