The Millwoods Town Center Subway near the food court has a very large promo sign prominently…read moredisplayed on the counter saying: "Buy 2 Subs Get One Free" using the Subway App only. I decided to give ordering thru the app a go, since it sounded like a decent deal. So I let 6 or more customers go in front of me while I downloaded the app and registered online. Then I submitted my detailed order on the app for 3 footlong subs (actually they're only 11" long). I ordered: 1 Steak + Cheese, 1 Chicken Breast (in fact their chicken breast is actually made with fake 50% soy filler & they add fake grilled lines according to CBC Marketplace on YouTube)... and 1 Tuna sub. When I tried to complete my order on the Subway app then I asked one of the counter ladies what the discount promo code was- since the promo code wasn't displayed on the big counter sign. Neither she or her coworker had any ide at all and they both didn't know anything at all about the current promotion at all or even how the app works! While exiting the app then I noticed there was a promo advertised on the app for: "Buy One Sub, Get the Second Sub for 50% Off". So I decided to give ordering on the app another try by just ordering 2 subs. By this time it was 15-20 minutes later and I was sweating in my coat and feeling exasperated + impatient. I entered my detailed order for 2 subs starting from the very beginning again. Then when I tried to check-out and enter the promo code "BOGO50" on the app, it stated that the promotion wasn't valid in my area!! ((??)) The Subway owner is incompetent for not keeping their employees in-the-loop. They must be eating too many of their Subway buns containing azodicarbonamide (ADA)*. *Fun Fact: According to the internet, ADA is a chemical that was/is used in Subway dough, but also found in yoga mats, shoe soles, and synthetic leather. The ingredient is used as a bleaching agent in flour and dough conditioner in North America, even though it's banned in many other countries. No wonder the business at Subway franchises have gone so downhill over the last several years, considering all of their fakery and false advertising (not to mention the shocking Jared scandal). Very, very nice staff, though, even though they aren't kept informed about current promotions by the clueless owner/manager. The absentee owner/manager is lucky that I still purchased the 1 Steak + Cheese sub for my buddy who had already ordered it while I was wasting my time on the app. I guess I've lost a lot of respect for Subway + my APP-etite for the app after trying to give them another chance on spite of all their misleading advertising shenanigans. I went to Sizzling Wok instead and ordered their various yummy "candy meats". Hopefully this Subway owner/manager will change their tuna someday because they are personally responsible for making this Subway location SUB-par!

There's also an upstairs so I assume that more tables are up there. To start you queue up at the counter and pick your meat and put it bun. Ask the guy to recommend the rest because he's got lots of sauces. Then choose veggies and you're nearly there. We also added a coffee which was way too good for a deli. The sandwiches were delicious. The amount was just right. The bun is not huge so you won't be stuffed with bread. It can get messy because there's more fillings than bun but don't worry because there are three washrooms to wash your sticky fingers. Seriously I haven't enjoyed a new place in Edmonton this much in a long time. As for the location... Well eventually it might be okay. It's fine during the day. I highly recommend Patricia Street.

Staff were friendly and service was good. ~$14 for a sandwich. A little smaller than expected but the options for what you want were amazing. ~$6 for a bowl of soup, which was delicious! I would definitely recommend, it's a cozy space to bring some friends.
