Wow! I knew that this place must be great because there's 141 reviews already and the place hasn't been open for a whole year yet. There's lots of seating. More than most places. There's also an upstairs so I assume that more tables are up there. To start you queue up at the counter and pick your meat and put it bun. Ask the guy to recommend the rest because he's got lots of sauces. Then choose veggies and you're nearly there. We also added a coffee which was way too good for a deli. The sandwiches were delicious. The amount was just right. The bun is not huge so you won't be stuffed with bread. It can get messy because there's more fillings than bun but don't worry because there are three washrooms to wash your sticky fingers. Seriously I haven't enjoyed a new place in Edmonton this much in a long time. As for the location... Well eventually it might be okay. It's fine during the day. It was pretty empty when I went there, however there was a good amount of seats and also a really relaxing vibe to it. There's also a bar there as well. Staff were friendly and service was good. ~$14 for a sandwich. A little smaller than expected but the options for what you want were amazing. ~$6 for a bowl of soup, which was delicious! Street parking available if you can find it. Very small store so you have have to wait outside till theirs room for you. Just like subway but better ingredients. I got the whole grain bread (looks Very different if you choose white (white option was more like a sub bun) whole grain was 2 slices. This means the slices got soggy super fast soooo if your not eating it Right away I'd suggest the white bun. While wheat bread was very good though. I got turkey, cranberry chutney, honey mustard, swiss cheese, cucumber, sprouts, carrot, lettuce, beets. Very nice fresh ingredients. Loved the beets. Boyfriend got smoked meat, smoked Gouda, cucumber, sprouts, carrot, lettuce, beets, olives, tomato, pickles, garlic mayo and Chipotle mayo. Very happy with his too. Unlike subway you can't see the ingredients. $17/sandwich. 4 dine-in stools. Some outdoor tables. Server was super friendly but there's almost always a line so I always feel pressured to pick toppings so fast. Would love to see some "pre-selects" so "fan favorite" combinations. The day we went must've been a bad day the sandwich neither mine nor my friends was really great. as the door continually opened, it was also very cold sitting in the area of the proximity of the door all in all I would say it was OK, but I will not return. Lovely deli where you can build your own sandwiches or wraps. There is a gluten free wrap option for those of us who are gluten free. They offered to wipe the counter down to help with cross contamination. I ordered a gluten free wrap with turkey, bacon, garlic mayo, and lettuce. They also have gluten free pre-packaged brownies. My husband got the gluten free wrap with the Montreal smoked beef, hot Dijon (he didn't care for it), lettuce, sprouts, cucumber, tomato, and Monterey Jack cheese. We enjoyed it and I'm sure it's even better if you're not gluten free. I love that you can stop in here and get a good sandwich to bring with you when you go out hiking. read more

This place is very tiny. It's tucked inside the walkway of the two-story building. Right in front of the elevators they have tables set out side. There's no seating inside the shop . It' just a cute mom and Pop sandwich shop. They make their own roast beef and rotisserie chicken in house. It's a made to order sandwich shop similar to making your own sub at subway. You pick your bread, wrap, multigrain, or white hoagie, then you add your sauce and meat choice of: turkey, roast, beef, rotisserie chicken. And then you add all your veggies. There's no prices so I'm not sure how they calculate your meal, all I know is it's pretty pricey. We got only 3 sandwiches and 1 serving of the mini pot pie 54$ that's with no drink or chips or anything. Service was ok, they got busy after we walked in and it seemed like we were being rushed and they didn't take their time with our order. The multigrain bread serving was a lot bigger than the white bread hoagie. It seemed like double size. A lot better deal. If I knew that I would have not chose white bread. Once you put all the ingredients on there, the sandwiches are pretty good. But the white bread was little hard and dry, so not get this!! My daughter doesn't really care for sandwiches and we saw some chicks pot pie in the fridge, I asked if I could get it heated the help didn't know and had to go ask.... I should have known it's not a big seller if she didn't know. He heated did end up heating it up for us. It tasted ok but much more dry than other pot pies. A MUST. I'm a sandwich gal and this was the BEST sandwich I have ever had & one of my top meals while driving through Canada. Such a cute spot, amazing customer service, these girls KNOW their sandwiches. My husband and I went in with no wait time. The girl fixing us up was giving my husband suggestions on what to put on his roast beef & salsa verde sandwich. It was right then that I knew I was going to just have her pick for me. I got a Turkey on their soft whole grain bread. She loaded it up with cranberry sauces and tons of veggies I would have never though of picking. Yes, the sandwiches are just as good as everyone says. I got two sandwiches for myself because I had a really long drive ahead of me with a stop off hike on the way. My first sandwich was ham with garlic mayo, sharp cheddar cheese, and a variety of veggies; it was simple and delicious and really hit the spot on the top of a mountain. My second sandwich was the real standout though, I got the bird rotisserie chicken with curry mayo, cranberry chutney, lettuce, tomato, shredded carrots, and hot peppers. The curry/cranberry combination was SO amazingly delicious! And the highlight of the sandwich was the hot peppers, these are not your standard ho-hum jalapenos, they're pickled cherry peppers and I wish I had gotten extra peppers they were just so good and complemented the curry flavor perfectly. I got there just after 10:00 when they opened so there were only three people in line ahead of me and I didn't have to wait long. Chatting with the owner while he made my sandwich was such a joy. I'll remember this place for many years to come, it was a highlight of my trip which seems weird to say about a small deli, but it's true! read more

It is a hole in the wall spot tucked a little bit inside and behind shops. It is a solid sandwich shop. I ordered a chicken sandwich. The chicken was a little dry since it was premade sandwich meat. I would probably recommend getting another meat. The smoked beef looked excellent. I highly suggest asking for the cranberry chutney on any sandwich. The sauce was awesome. Moreover, sprouts really worked with my sandwich. The deli is a quick grab and go place. There is one table to sit if you want to eat it immediately. My family went for lunch one day and back the next day to take sandwiches on the road. my fave was turkey and bacon with cranberry mayo and cranberry chutney with goat cheese, lettuce, sprouts and pickled onion. This was a solid deli place that roasts their own chicken breasts. You can order a full bird or get the chicken meat in a sandwich. Great homemade spreads and a great variety of toppings and vegetables. The owner makes a great sandwich; the trainees not so much. The new gal in training completely flattened and smooshed my bread when she was cutting it. Oh well.... Living in SF where amazing and great sandwiches are a dime a dozen, this place is pretty solid for being out in the middle of a National Park. Line moves really slowly during peak hours.... Wow... I chose to stop at this great sandwich shop mainly because of the high yelp ratings and I was not disappointed! My sandwich was so delicious (well it was a wrap but it had so many great things in it! I had the bird (chicken) in it and it really hit the spot. So many great sauce options, flavours, cheeses, and more. They have soups and other accompaniments as well but the wrap was all I wanted/needed. Some of my dining companions had the soup and said it was quite good. There isn't much space to eat indoors (and the large table was very full of a friendly group of people (regulars perhaps?)), but they have some tables outside underneath the stairway in the complex where the restaurant is located. The entrance to the restaurant is a bit off of the street itself and we wouldn't have spotted it if it wasn't for the yelp recommendation, but quite honestly it was the perfect thing to sate our hunger. read more

But I was desperate so I wandered in, and damn did I feel like a fool when they slapped real roasted chicken on my sandwich.
