T. with some to-go food when we visited in December 2020. I didn't have any issues with the service provided. They were allowing only one customer at a time in this small shop, so when it came to my turn I was able to be served rather quickly. For to-go items, they only had a few "hot" food available--leberkäse, bratwursts, etc. Compared to what I'm used to, the slice of leberkäse was rather thin...only about 1/4 in. rather than usual 1/2 to 3/4 in. Brats were rather cold--a telltale sign of them sitting there for a while. On the contrary, brotchen/buns on which meats were on were pretty good--crunchy outside and soft inside--just the way I like them. At a glance it looked they offered a very wide variety of sausages available in this shop, but we didn't try or buy anything...this time.
I love, and I mean LOVE, the bratwurst on a Brötchen with German mustard at Erich Trumph Metzgerei! YUM!!

Both the salad and the wraps are very tasty, no matter how you choose your ingredients. Even the tofu one was tasty! :) Also great is that they manage to keep the prices low: For less than 5€ you get a wrap in any flavour that is easily enough to make you feel full. Apart from the wraps they also offer juices (yummy!), salads that you can customise and warm dishes. I have yet to try the warm dishes and the salads. Attention: Lines can get long during lunch time and you might be out of luck with finding a place to sit. My only complaint is that they are not open at night. This would be a perfect place for getting a night snack but they currently close at 7pm.

Food was plentiful no matter what you order and you can even order a pitcher of soda. Which is best instead of paying up to 3€ for s soda you can order a 1.5 liter pitcher for under 10€. The burgers were juicy and thick and plump. Good to the last drop my husband says. Lol. They had the Mezzo Mix soda which is orange and coke cola mix. I don't think we sell that back in the states. I'll have to take a picture of what A Mezzo Mix soda looks like. I had Orangina. I keep seeing the billboards everywhere here in Germany and decided I need to try this stuff. Very good for an individual who doesn't drink soda. However I don't think this is soda. It didn't taste like a orange soda with all the suds and bubbles and gas. I will be back to this diner. We came for lunch so if you come for lunch and don't see breakfast on the menu it's because it's an entirely different menu. Ask for it. Parking is across the street in the parking garage.
