This time, I started to get a sausage biscuit for our dog, but remembered how much I loved sausage McGriddle. It's been ages since I've had a McGriddle. The syrup is cooked into the pancake like bun and it goes so well with sausage. I ended up giving our dog, Baxter, the Egg McMuffin and I ate his sausage McGriddle. We were both happy. We got through the drive through quickly with no glitches. Just what you want when traveling.

I even told my husband this morning I was excited to have McDonald's for dinner. Unfortunately, this stop couldn't have gone more wrong. It wasn't busy when I placed my order at the kiosk, and the food itself didn't take long. The problem was the milkshakes. They needed to change out the ice cream bag, but instead of handling it, the staff kept serving other customers. I stood there waiting... and waiting... while at least eight other orders were completed before they finally addressed it. By the time I got everything, my food was cold and the fries were limp. The chocolate shake was basically a vanilla shake with chocolate syrup poured in, not mixed at all. When I tried to drink it, it was watery and nothing like a milkshake.
