Hello fellow foodies I got an amazing review for you today..I just love italian veal sandwiches…read more, definitely my favorite type sandwich and I have tried them from most places in the GTA . I was told by a family member to try out Cosimos deli veal , so i was in the area so decided to stop in and try out there italian veal sandwich. This italian deli is tucked away in a small plaza on the north side of dundas just past Mavis rd ..its almost easy to not see this deli but look for the yellow sign on the end of building . It's an amazing elderly italian couple that runs the place , she does the cooking and he works along side in deli with her serving these marvelous veal sandwiches. They remind me of my grandparents just amazing people with love for there food and for there customers. So friendly so amazing. Food 5/5 let's just start by saying if I could rate it higher then 5 I would it's just that good . First of all it dosnt get more authentic as far a italian veal goes. The bread is the real italian deal , not like the kinda buns you get at Californias , this is real italian loaf crunchy crust on outside and soft on inside, home made style just like mama makes. The veal was tender perfectly cooked not greasy so flavorful I couldn't believe how great the veal tasted with a nice coating of there homemade tomato sauce , I have to say the sauce was just incredible . Topped with there perfectly seasoned grilled onions green peppers and a few hot peppers in an olive oil base that soaked so nicely into that amazing bread . He also sliced two fresh slices from a big block of provolone cheese , and heated up sandwich in oven to melt the cheese . This is now by far the best best veal sandwich I have ever had and I now have my goto place for italian veal sandwiches. The veal was $10 but to be honest I would gladly pay $20 for this sandwich it's just that good people. My pictures speak for themselves as you can see. Service 5/5 again if I could give the service rating for this place more then 5/5 rating it totally deserves it. The elderly couple that run this place are genuinely so nice and you can see how much passion and love goes into there food and customer satisfaction..The man even offered me an espresso while I was waiting for my sandwich . I dosnt get any nicer then that ..please get to this place and support this couple and deli they are top notch . Try them out and enjoy the best veal in town by far

They offer Malaysian/singaporean dishes which is sometimes hard to find. The place was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Malaysian curry laksa with a half udon half vermicelli noodles. The broth was so coconuty and shrimpy which is how I likey laksa. Good amount of garnish of shrimp, tofu, and fish balls. The only thing was the noodles was more vermicelli than the udon. I think next time I'll order it I'll get it for udon only. Definitely coming back here for the bakkutteh dish my other favourite!

The place was far from crowded when we showed up, and we were told to check out the menus and place our order at the front. We decided to share the House Special Sandwich ("Pork loin marinated with house special recipe, tomato, fried egg, cabbage and peanut butter") and the Malaysian Street Style sandwich ("4oz ground beef with a taste of M'sian spice, tomato, fried egg, lettuce and sweet & spicy sauce"). (I also got a milk tea to drink, and it was really good. Very rich but not too sweet.) The sandwiches were both excellent. They were packed with flavor and the various components all worked really well together. The Malaysian Street Style did flirt with being just a little too sweet, but it was balanced out with the other components. Everything was decently priced, too. The bill, with tip, came out to around 25 bucks, which is great considering the quantity and caliber of food we were given.

The burgers were dry and crispy. I loved my burger, but my wife and grampa didn't and then the fries. They are edible, that's the consensus we came to, edible. I mistakenly ordered a large, it was a mistake because they suck. Super soggy and tasteless. I coated my fries in a meat rub and into the air fryer they went. I liked my burger, it was great. But my wife and grampa said theirs were dry and crispy. So it looks like 1/3rd of the time you'll get a great burger. I won't be going back. Sticking with the better gourmet burger places symposium or browns.

I had a hankering for something tasty but couldn't figure out what it was that I wanted. Japanese, Thai, Pizza or Burgers? Peeked at the menu online and with so many appealing options, still couldn't decide on what to get.. or whether to order online for pickup.. or get delivery.. so I drove my indecisive ass to Burger Bros after an hour of back and forth debating between restaurants! I was very hangry and my stomach was rumbling! Arrived at 6pm with no one in the place but me. The man taking my order was very friendly. I imagine that he's the owner. Asked him about two options; Adopted and Broski (not much of a difference between the two) and he recommended Step Brothers but I wasn't feeling a meat patty then and settled on the Broski instead. Wanted to wash my hands in the washroom but the WC was closed so the man allowed me to wash in the basin behind the counter. Appreciated that so much! After placing my order, dozens of people came through!! The place filled up rather quickly. I kept moving around like a chess piece on a chess board to make space while I waited. Within twenty minutes, my order was ready. The bag was piping hot, just the way I like it. There was no way I could wait to eat so I drove over to the next plaza, parked the car and devoured my sandwich. It was really good! Received three thick pieces of chicken strips in a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, mozzarella cheese, pickles and various sauces. I inhaled my burger and said to myself, next time, I'll order two. No fries were consumed. Heard the portions are big and can be shared between two, so that's what I'ma do next time! Very affordable prices for the amount received. Much cleaner than other fast food joints.

Leguan is the newest local food stall in the game created by a couple of burnt out nurses looking to share their love of food with their community one sando at a time (or more, we wouldn't blame you :P) So here's what we got to try: - The Mother Clucker (chicken) - The Fancy Cow (beef) - The Dirty Bird Poutine - Curry Stix - Quicksand and Fossils (Birthday cake dip + Biscuits) I can't even begin to tell you how delicious and filling this feast was! The chicken sando was SO massive as you can already tell, super saucy and with a spicy kick, extremely yummy. If you're in the mood for something not chicken they also have a thiccc beef burger that's classic cheeseburger style with melty cheese but with a twist of caramelized onions that are just perfect! The poutine omgg it was packedddd as you can see there was a generous amount of fried chicken tenders in there, sauced up with the cheese and gravy and garnish! It was poutine on a whole other level, I'm not even much of a fries girl and I throughly enjoyed this ;) I also absolutely relished the Cajun fries with the curry gravy, it was so tasty and thicc apparently an Irish take on Indian curry, so unique yet delicious :P Lastly the birthday cake dip took me back to my childhood when I could look forward to recess and eating my dunkaroos, so creative to use it as a dessert! It included fluffy, made in front of me (to order), falafel doused in a garlic and kickin' hot sauce over rice accompanied by a side fattoush salad and hummus. The falafel was cooked perfectly and had a fluffy and not overdone or super friend texture to it. The sauces drizzled on it were AMAZING, especially the hot sauce which the secret receipt he explained was passed down from his Italian born grandmother through the generations! I could drink this hot sauce and garlic sauce , it literally was SO good. The side fattoush salad featured fresh and crisp vegetables and was delicious as was the hummus. Everything tasted very fresh! I gladly ate there at the side bar with tall chair seating which allowed me to chat with the nice and gracious owner, Alex, who explained he moved from Italy and uses Italian 00 flour and other real deal Italian ingredients in his sauce. That is why his pizza is far above the competitors in the area. You are getting high quality pizza here because the ingredients are just superior. And, where on earth can you get an awesome quality pizza with shawarma on it? Here folks! My dining companion had a chicken shawarma wrap, the regular size, and it was HUGE. But, more than that, it was delicious and completely devoured. No complaints there. One thing to note is that Alex prepares things in batches and when he sells out he sells out for the day. Check my pictures to see a picture of the delectable pizza from dough he hand tossed/stretches in front of us. Alex explained the Italian origins of the pizza components. He explained with the finer flour and better ingredients leave you not feeling heavy or with indigestion after eating it. Alex takes pride in his craft and the results are shown by the food he produces. Located in a strip mall off a side street off Dundas street this spot is unassuming. There are two tables and a bar eating area in the store. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and the food was bomb. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area-you will be glad that you did. We will definitely be back before this trip is over. Thank you, Alex!

I called ahead this time, and they had lamb shawarma pizza, so we headed over right away. There are only two tables inside. Unfortunately, both were empty when we got there. My husband got the lamb shawarma wrap (super size), and I ordered a medium lamb shawarma pizza because that's the smallest size they offer for lamb shawarma pizza. The food took about 15 minutes. The pizza looked and tasted amazing. I ate 1/3 of the pizza myself because it was so good. My husband really enjoyed the wrap too, but when he tried the pizza after finishing the wrap, he liked the pizza even more, and this is in a full stomach already. Overall, I highly recommend this place. This is a family owned restaurant, and the owner is a nice guy who makes great food. We will definitely be back again.
