Given that there's a couple thousand reviews on Google, I would recommend getting there early if you have a large group. They don't take reservations and there was already a line before the restaurant opened. Since we had a large group and it was a nice, summer day, we opted to sit on the patio under the shade. The burgers are kind of expensive, compared to the US, but they're big. For an extra 8 CHF, you can make it a combo with fries or salad and coleslaw. I didn't know you could actually pick truffle Parmesan fries for the combo and ended up ordering it separately. The burger itself was really good and I'm not sure if it was the raclette cheese. I think even with any type of cheese, the burger would've been just as delicious. I mean, our entire group had different types of burgers and they all really liked theirs. Highly recommend if you're in the area! It's a nice break if you're trying Swiss cuisine everyday. A couple of notes though: they don't take Amex credit cards and they'll charge for tap water.

All were heavily laden with extras --- veggies, lettuce, a sweet chutney that nicely complemented the main flavors, and hot sauce to order. The hummus and falafel options are variations on a theme --- either a large scoop of hummus and two falafel balls, or 6+ falafel balls and a small dollop of hummus. The lamb in the shish kebab is in large, tender chunks, and nicely roasted. The bread is much more substantial than many pitas --- more of a crusty roll, but so filled with goodies that the ratios are still right. Drinks are fairly standard --- a few beers and sodas, boxed Ayran yogurt drink, and a giant urn of oddly spiced tea by the glass. Definitely a must-eat for a day around Solothurn.

So far so good. We drove on and made our payment. We got the coke and were then asked to wait 3 minutes... Not at the counter... No, we were asked to park the car somewhere. Drive-Thru??? After 5 minutes we went back to pick up our order. Still not ready. We were asked to move our car as we were blocking the cars behind us.... How can this be a Drive-Thru concept? First time in my live this happened to me. We finally received our order. My vanilla milkshake looked weird. It had stuff floating in it. No, the lady explained, this wasn't a milk shake as they did not sell that there... Couldn't she have told me when I ordered it??? It was similar though, but it had hazelnut pieces in it... I had definitely not asked for that and didn't want any nuts in my drink. She replaced it with a milkshake like drink without nuts. Very kind. I'm being sarcastic.
