    Raclette Burger
    Roger P.

At first, I was a little hesitant about eating burgers in Switzerland because I usually want to try things that I can't get back home. But we saw that they had a burger with raclette cheese and that was enough to make it unique! Asllani's specializes in burgers but they have other options if you're not interested. Given that there's a couple thousand reviews on Google, I would recommend getting there early if you have a large group. They don't take reservations and there was already a line before the restaurant opened. Since we had a large group and it was a nice, summer day, we opted to sit on the patio under the shade. The burgers are kind of expensive, compared to the US, but they're big. For an extra 8 CHF, you can make it a combo with fries or salad and coleslaw. I didn't know you could actually pick truffle Parmesan fries for the combo and ended up ordering it separately. The burger itself was really good and I'm not sure if it was the raclette cheese. I think even with any type of cheese, the burger would've been just as delicious. I mean, our entire group had different types of burgers and they all really liked theirs. Highly recommend if you're in the area! It's a nice break if you're trying Swiss cuisine everyday. A couple of notes though: they don't take Amex credit cards and they'll charge for tap water.

We saw this highly rated burger joint and knew we had to give it a try during our stay in Interlaken! We had a large party, so we went right at opening to make sure we could snag a table! We were seated outside, where a few umbrellas blocked the sun thankfully! It did get a bit windy, but overall was managable! There's only a few seats inside, so you're most likely going to be seated outside! We got our order in fairly quick, but like other reviews mentioned, the food did take a bit to come out. When the food finally arrived, everyone was ravenous and maybe that added to the delicious factor of our meal. I shared a Sweet Chili Chicken Burger and a Cheeseburger with my fiance, and both were amazing. I personally liked the Chicken Burger more, as the Chicken patty was super crispy and overall the flavors were more up my alley. I do think other burger options on the menu could've been tastier, but still we enjoyed what we got. Parmesan fries could have been crispier!

Sometimes you just need a good burger! We came to Asllani's during our time in Interlaken hoping to get that fix, and it definitely did the job! We had a huge group, so we came right at open hoping to avoid a wait, and we managed to be seated at the patio immediately. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, and it was nice sitting outside and watching the paragliders. Our tables all had umbrellas but it didn't look like that was the case for all the outdoor tables...not sure if it would have been as enjoyable in the direct sun. BEEFOLLOBURGER COMBO: My curiosity got the best of me and I had to see the monstrosity of a burger that had both beef and chicken. I don't know why I pictured beef and chicken ground together in a patty, but the burger actually came with one patty of each. It was so delicious and I have no regrets ordering this! If your appetite is on the smaller side then you may be better off splitting this with someone because it is HUGE. I felt the cost to upgrade to a combo was ridiculous, but I was so desperate for some veggies at this point of our trip that I paid for it anyways. I will say the salad and coleslaw were really good though. TRUFFLE PARMESAN FRIES: On top of my giant burger, I split these fries with a few others at my table. Super tasty but I also think it's hard to mess up truffle parm fries! The texture and cut of the fries was just how I like them. Great spot to visit if you want some delicious burgers and fries. It did get busy though so just plan ahead! We waited a pretty long time after ordering to get our food, but that's to be expected since our group was so big.

While traveling to Lake Como Italy, then Switzerland, I was craving a good ole' burger. I found this place on yelp and they did NOT disappoint. As a matter of fact, we came last night, and again today for a cheeseburger and Crispy chicken sandwich, with fries. They were both PERFECTLY cooked. The interior was nice, ambiance cool, and had great service. I would def come back again. Also recommend to anyone traveling looked for good food. 5 stars.

Raclette Burger with Parmesan Truffle Fries (and a tasty aioli)

There were SO many food options in Interlaken but I was tired of Swiss food at this point of my trip and wanted a burger (yes, I'm that American). I wandered away from the more densely populated parts of town just to see what I could find (I should note that I was still surrounded by hotels). I usually try to gauge a spot on foot by the amount of people sitting there and this place looked busy but with sufficient waitstaff. After a quick review of the menu, I picked a great table outside and was kindly greeted. I knew I wanted a burger and they had a great number of options to choose from! I decided to satisfy my burger craving with a Swiss twist, by ordering the Raclette Burger. It was sooooo good! Great quality meat, fixings, and tasty raclette. I paid extra for the side of Parmesan truffle fries and think it was well worth it. If you're in Interlaken, head this way! The staff took great care of me! It was probably the best service I got while dining in Switzerland over a two week period.

Making a reservation was more challenging than other places... couldn't use a link or a phone call and had to do it through instagram DM. After getting there, food was great! The orders were messed up but we had a party of 8 so that was to be expected. After finishing our food, it took forever to flag down a waiter. We waited over an hour AFTER cleaning our plates to see a waiter, flagged down 3 for the bill and it still took a long time. The food was great and the view was pretty. We got charged for some of the sides that never came out. If you're in no rush know how to use instagram DM and want a great burger this is a good place. Enjoyed the food but won't be back.

Best burger ever! And it's Halal!!! The ambiance is great. Very nice and modern inside. As for the food, Just take a look at the photo of the burger. It was so good. We got the double patty- not really needed to be honest, a single patty is quite filling. Now here is the only tricky part...it's super duper busy. If you plan to eat here, you need to get on their list, and they will provide you with a time window for when you need to arrive.

    Double Cheeseburger combo

Food was delicious and came out fairly quickly despite the restaurant being very busy. Inside was nicely decorated and felt well maintained

We had been in Europe for about two weeks and we really just needed a good old-fashioned burger, this was perfect. We went right when they opened (lol), thankfully there was no wait for us, but the restaurant got quickly filled up. Delicious definitely will be back if I find myself in Interlaken again.

Nice small little restaurant in Interlaken. Great service and food options. Probably the best sweet potato fries I've had in a while. It's connected to a small bakery if you want something sweet after

I arrived when most tables were full and yet was quickly seated within 10 minutes. The servers were all super friendly and as I knew already what I wanted to eat, it was choosing my beer flight from Hüsi brewery that was "hard." I ordered a flight with the Helles, Hefeweizen, Strawberry Cider (sadly they were all tapped out it's so popular, so I went with traditional hard cider) and the Double IPA. I love beer. Especially when it's served super cold on a hot and humid day with exercise. There wasn't a beer (or cider) in this bunch that I did not LOVE. Mind you, if I wasn't so tired and a lightweight, I would have tried more of the offerings on the menu. The Helles was so light, clean and crisp-as it should be. The Hefeweizen had all the right aromas and flavors. The Cider was very good: not too dry, but definitely not sweet. The double IPA was also excellent. I am not a huge fan of IPAs (often taste like the pith of a grapefruit to me due to the Hops), but I do like doubles and triples and this one hit the spot, with a gentle citrusy taste and crisp mouthfeel. While I waited for my ribs, I saw a couple near me got the Schweinhaxe, aka Pork Knuckle. Mind you, this is one of my favorite Bavarian Dishes that I can also get in Rhineland and it never disappoints. The one I saw served (and took a photo of), was the LARGEST I have ever seen. The skin looked perfectly brown and crisped and the meat was fork tender (from my observation). The German man seated between the couple and me, said it was the largest he'd ever seen as well. It looked amazing and the couple offered me a taste, but I politely declined-I knew I had a large meal ahead of me. I joked that it must have been some large pig to have had a knuckle that large. My ribs came and they were piping hot (no complaint). The sauce was excellent, as it was tomato forward and not sweet with a hint of spice. The ribs themselves were PERFECTLY cooked. I know someone else who reviewed said theirs were tough (I ordered them anyway) and they were so tender and moist that they literally fell off the bones. The coleslaw was vinegar based (THANK YOU) and refreshing. The fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. If you can't tell by now, I loved everything about this meal. It was also clear I was starving because I inhaled the entire plate of ribs and downed the beers in about 20 minutes. Not very European style of eating, but hunger took precedence. The music was fantastic: a lot of 90s grunge and also some U2, a few other cool bands that ahem, you know, was from my youth. The servers hustle and do a thorough job of being both friendly and helpful. One stopped to have a quick chat with a couple and their cute dog. Two came by to see if my meal was okay. I watched them rush around with food, drinks, and also two different servers cleaned a table after a couple left (the one cleared and cleaned while the other cleaned it again even though it was bare)-so there's no hygiene issues here. I was surprised to see the place cleared out by around 19:15-I expected it to be slammed all night. It was a Monday though and I'm sure the late night crowd was still napping. I would have loved to sit and drink another one of the amazing beer offerings, but as I said, I was beyond tired and worried someone would have to roll me back to my hotel, an 11-minute walk away. Lastly, the prices are unreal for this area. My meal, beer flight and 10% tip (come on, people, 5-10% is welcome in Switzerland-don't forget to show your appreciation), came to 51CHF. That's a bargain. I would absolutely come back here in heartbeat. It's truly a gem. Now to see if they sell their beers in the COOP or Migros so I can take them home...

Not to dry and my parents loved it -- they are the kind who are pretty picky when it comes to any sort of American/german/etc food. The pork ribs were yummy with a tangy bbq sauce on it but a bit dry. The fries/chips were so yummy though! The bratwurst was not that great and $22. It came with a weird potatoes square salad and the same red cabbage sauerkraut. Overall, it was a meal well spent. $122 for 4 people which is so worth. Odd thing is they did have a "restaurant" tax of $8 which I have never seen at other Swiss restaurants. Service was good. Ambience felt like a sports bar, and the wait before 5pm was not bad at all Would recommend if yall like meat and potatoes!

I ordered the beef stew, which my waitress recommended, and the meat was unbearably dry and chewy, not even the gravy could save it. Seriously, it was the worst-quality beef I can remember having at a restaurant. The Pinot Noir was excellent, but that was the only highlight. I had a reservation for 9 and showed up early at 8:45. On the phone they had said the kitchen closed at 9:30, but when I arrived no one attended my table until 8:58, when the waitress rushed over and told me the kitchen closes at 9. The most frustrating part is that my meal for one person, including the dish and two glasses of wine, was $50 Franks. For that price, I expect far better quality. I expect better, truly.
