I tried two sandwiches: the Haida Hot, rated 4/5 and priced at $17.99, and the Haida Royal, rated 3/5 at $21.99. I also ordered a small pizza, the Haida Pizza, which was rated 3/5 and costs $16.99. Both sandwiches were good; the bread was crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. They were a decent size and made neatly, the addition of hickory stick chips inside the sandwiches is a interesting touch. The pizza was okay, but for its small size, it would be best suited for a child to eat on their own. The size reminded me of the pizza that McDonald's used to offer, and at $17, I found it a bit steep. Overall, the service was good. The staff recommended the most popular items, which was helpful since it was my first visit to Haida. However, I do think the prices are a bit high for what you get.

A Lot of attention and care was put into the design of the place and it shows; neon lights and signs as well as the design of the wall art and a large padded booth in the corner that could comfortably seat a party of 6-8 hungry patrons. And, best of all the management make sure that the tables, floor and bathroom are sparkling clean. We order two of their specialty sandwiches... The Haida Hot and The Meat Lovers and washed them down with Delster (Non-Alcoholic Beer from Iran. The food was simple but good hearty and filling... The drinks were light and refreshing. There was a nice assortment of Persian Music playing at a reasonable volume in the background. This place is close to Coquitlam Centre Mall... SkyTrain Lincoln Station and Lafarge Lake-Douglas It would make a good stop to get a Picnic Lunch before going for a walk around Lafarge Lake... Or, afterwards if you worked up a good hunger. It's open from 11am until 11pm... So, Lunch, Dinner, or Late Night Snack. I Highly Recommend this Restaurant

We were seated right away. We ordered a pistachio latte, apple crisp macchiato and Turkish coffee. We asked for the first two drinks to go and Turkish coffee in house. Unfortunately, our barista made all the drinks to go. We did not get to enjoy the Turkish coffee in a nicer presentation. Also, we kind of expected a sugary treat to accompany the Turkish coffee and there was nothing. Maybe because I am used to other cafes just automatically offering a Turkish delight or something? There was a cup of water to wash down the bitter coffee. Overall, I think their food is probably a better option than their drinks. My pistachio latte was alright. I could taste a hint of the pistachio. Service was alright. We received our drinks fairly quickly.

I was intrigued why they did not have an Iranian theme with some ethnic uniqueness to it. Perhaps this is more palatable to the general public. They serve cafe style offerings with some breakfast items, sandwiches and pastries. The owner relayed to me all coffees and teas they serve are organic!! She would also like to expand their menu to include a liquor license. So we shall see what happens then. Coffee is good. Pastries were okay. Pricing is slightly above average. Okay environment to work in if you don't mind the Mediterranean guitar music playing full-blast. Overall, their chairs are more comfortable than usual coffee joints in the hood. May return in future if work with RELAXING music is in the stars.

They still do sandwiches but comparing the deli meat I saw and the old photos say 6 or 7 years ago, it is like comparing day and night. What caught my attention is the beef sausage rolls. I decided to get two. They were inexpensive 2 for $4. However, they were full of disappointment. They were kind of bland. We had better ones elsewhere. This place is comparable to a Circle K or 7-Eleven. Inside is not brightly lit. Staff seems to be doing their own thing the entire time. Not much service here. Parking is available in the plaza. They have a little bit of everything from random items like googles to cleaning supplies to food.

I ordered a Roast Beef Sandwich with jalepenos that was made right before my eyes. The lady grilled my meat and bread, and the entire sandwich was served hot. The amount of meat and cheese was fairly generous. It tasted very good. I also ordered a cinnamon bun that was refridgerated, which implied that it might not have been freshly made that day. I ate it cold, and in retrospect, I should have reheated it in a microwave. Reheating it would've made it softer, but the limited amount of icing and cinnamon would still have been demerits. The sandwich was good, the service was good and I will come back again. But, next time, I'll probably stay clear of the refridgerated pastries. Interestingly, this place also sells a variety of items you'd more likely find at a dollar store. So, if you want hunting knives or flashlights to go with your sandwich, Dik's is the place to go.

Food Quality The roast beef dip featured tender beef piled on crusty bread with rich au jus for dipping, making it a standout comfort meal. The clubhouse packed fresh veggies, cheese, and meats into a hearty stack--both were generously portioned and far above standard food court fare. Price Breakdown No sides included, yet two sandwiches pushed past $40, which feels steep for mall dining without extras like fries or soup. Quality ingredients shine through, but it's a splurge that might give budget shoppers pause. Crowd and Vibe Very few customers were around during the visit, despite the lively food court setting next to spots like Cazba Persian Grill. The modern counter setup and quick service suggest it's more of a hidden gem for those seeking elevated sandwiches over fast-food speed. Ideal For Chachi's suits shoppers or office workers craving gourmet-level sandwiches without leaving the mall, but the price and low foot traffic leave it feeling niche--who's the target beyond occasional indulgence seekers?
