I was very pleasantly informed that I should've looked on Facebook, then I would've known the restaurant was closing early. That's not something I do when deciding on where I want to dine, but, lesson learned We ordered the "starter sampler" for an appetizer, which consisted of collard green dip with pita chips, fried green tomatoes, and deviled eggs with bacon jam! It was delicious!!!! For our entrees, we ordered the Collard Green Grilled Cheese, with seasoned fries, and the Southern Bowl. We also ordered Sweet Tea, and Signature Lemonade, both were good! But no free refills on the lemonade....The Collard Green Grilled Cheese was phenomenal, well seasoned greens, with smoked Gouda cheese on perfectly grilled buttered Texas Toast!!!! WOW!!!! The fries were hot and not overly seasoned!! The Southern Bowl was awesome, the grits were cheesy and creamy, topped with collard greens, and 2 perfectly seasoned fried flounder fillets! If I HAD to complain about something, it would be that there was just a tad too much "pot liquor" in my bowl and nothing to sop it up with‍ Fleming Street Bakery & Southern Cuisine is a great place to enjoy great food. Seating is limited, so timing can be everything! They have a different menu for Sundays, so be sure to check them out on Facebook before you go.

I do wish they were open more days per week but understand due to Catering events. It is made to order so it can take a little time but well worth the wait !

Kids had the grilled cheese ( which had so much cheese it was like eating a fresh pizza) and turkey croissant. Both ate their full meals. Husband had the cold cut sub and soup of the day and it was enjoyed. I had the turkey club and potato salad. All which were good. Staff were friendly and shared with us their favorites to help us decide. Quaint little corner shop with a few seats inside and outside.

It's a smaller spot with the ordering counter and kitchen in the back and maybe seating for 26 or so. The folks behind the counter were friendly and the order process was simple. I got their sandwich special, the Buffalo Soldier. It was chicken cutlet with lettuce, tomato, blue cheese, and ranch on ciabatta. I made it a combo with chips and a soda. With tip I think the total was around $17. That was a touch more expensive than I was expecting especially with just a bag of chips on the side. The sandwich was good. Between the blue cheese and the ranch it was really creamy and most of the toppings slide off with the second bite. I don't mind a mess though! The ciabatta bread was the perfect compliment for the sandwich. It was a cute spot and I especially liked the creative sandwich names. I'd go back and try the chicken ceasar wrap next time.

I was excited to give it a try today! I had the chicken salad sandwich with chips and he had a pimento cheese sandwich with chips. They were both on toasted/grilled bread. It was so good! We also had a family member with us who had a cheeseburger and said it was great, as well! The owners were both there and came to our car a few times to check on us and treated us like family. It just made me feel good inside. This used to be a restaurant that you could eat inside, but at this time it's curb service, call in and take out, or eat on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. They are also cash only as well. The town (I guess) is building some sort of community area across from their restaurant and there is supposed to be new picnic tables and a splash pad coming. If you're there for fun and get hungry, stop in! You won't be disappointed!

This place turned out to be a true hidden gem. The food was fantastic, the drinks were just right (possibly a little too good), and the atmosphere had that warm, relaxed vibe that makes you want to sit, talk, and order "just one more" round. Everything we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. By the end of the meal we were full, happy, and already talking about what we'd order next time. If you find yourself nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. Just be warned... you may leave planning your next visit before you even get to the parking lot.

I got the tropical burrito, and my guy got the birria burrito with beef . My burrito was huge it had bell peppers, rice, chicken, shrimp, chorizo and pineapple, with a cheese sauce over the burrito. In the end it was a little sweeter than I liked. The bell peppers could have been chopped smaller as well. The birria burrito was good and savory. They give you chips and salsa however, the salsa was low on seasoning and we had to add salt and a little hot sauce to bring out the flavor. I also ordered the sangria margarita which was delicious. There is sitting available outside with a great view of the train museum .The menu is a bit overwhelming. Service was just okay as there was a language barrier with the waiter. Not really sure if I would go back. It was just okay for me.
