They have no oil for sandwich, guess it's an American thing. You don't get the same amount of meat or topping as you do in the states.

Nando's - Medium Chicken Butterfly with Peri Chips and Spicy Rice (2023) £14.45

Nando's at Bell Court is in a good location, within the town centre of Stratford Upon Avon…read more I visited within the last hour of the restaurant remaining open, they close at 9 pm which is much earlier than most other Nando's restaurants I've seen, which usually stay open until 10 pm, despite coming to dine in within the last hour and the restaurant was starting to wind down, the staff members were still friendly and happy to assist me. This particular Nando's is fairly small, considering it is the only branch within the town, but there is still a good amount of seating, including booths and outdoor seating, and it didn't seem too busy when I visited. PRO TIP: The signal inside here is pretty poor, so you may want to connect to their free WiFi in order to stay connected to the outside world while dining in. I ordered my usual Nando's order, a medium spiced Chicken Butterfly with peri chips and spicy rice, the food arrived in decent time despite a pre-warning that everything could take longer due to them being short-staffed. The chicken was nice, but it was slightly overcooked. The rice was piping hot, but I did have to mix it up as it was stuck together in parts, and the chips were fine compared to the usual Nando's standards, all in all, A-OK, certainly not the best but could have been a lot worse. Not offering plain mayonnaise is a huge bummer for me, instead, you're forced to choose between a vegan alternative OR their Perinaise which is a mix of Mayonnaise and peri-peri sauce, the latter carries a £1 surcharge. (and they ended up forgetting, and I had to ask them for it) I do find the food a little expensive for what it is, and to add salt to one's wound, the price seems to go up and up each time I visit a Nando's location, my meal came to £14.45 today, which would have been £14.20 a couple of weeks ago, going back to below £12 per head before the pandemic. 3* - Many good things to write home about including the friendly staff, but also some improvements such as overall food standards and pricing.

Good chicken served a variety of ways. Half chicken, sandwiches, spicy or not... and a bunch of sides to choose from. I took one star off of the visit in Stratford Upon Avon because I got a takeaway order but they did not give me any tableware (fork, knife or napkins) and they did not offer me any sauces to go with my order. Staff was super friendly and I was still happy.

Giving this restaurant a 2 star review only because the panini I got was actually delicious…read more However, I have never felt more disrespected in a place before. My friend and I were on our 45 minute (very quick) lunch break in between classes and popped by starbucks for her and then this place for me. We got in and I immediately began ordering my food while my friend sat down and got us a table. She was eating her almond croissant while I finished ordering and was immediately yelled at by the owner for "disrespecting" the business. While I understand eating a chain croissant in a local restaurant can be disrespectful, I still find it incredibly rude that I, a paying customer, could not have a peaceful order as the owner was then basically kicking us out. My friend was extremely complacent and apologetic and was still yelled at as we waited for my sandwich. We were then forced to wait outside in the cold for my sandwich because of the ordeal. I find it even more disheartening that as a paying customer could not wait inside for my sandwich, while other customers who were doing the same thing, got to wait in the warmth. It was just such a bad experience and I would not recommend to eat in as you may be disappointed by the staff and their lack of customer service and respect for tourists. In a city as widely-known as "Stratford-Upon-Avon" you would think you want as much business as possible right? Well, that doesn't seem like the truth here and I wanted no more than to revoke my order and payment and take my business elsewhere. I have never seen this sort of behavior from any restaurant anywhere, even as a person who has worked in customer service for a major part of my life, I was extremely disappointed and will not be returning, even if the sandwich was really good. It's really not worth my time or anyone's time or money if you are going to get yelled at.

This was one of the best meals that we had during our 10 stay in the UK. Farm to table food - Brit style, done right! Lots of game and fish on the menu. I am probably an odd ball but I really enjoy chicken livers so that was what I began my meal with. They were flavored so well and were quite enjoyable. I shared with hubby and he liked them as well. Son had the scallop special appetizer and shared with Dad too. They enjoyed those sweet succulent medallions very much. Then they brought a very nice pallet cleanser of watermelon shots. It worked perfectly and was very refreshing. For my main I had the duck. Not the most tender in the world but very flavorful. I also like the accompanying sides. Hubby had the fish special which looked lovely. Son had the steak which he, of course, devoured. Just a quick note on the drinks. Hubby likes to try any local ales when we are traveling. He was not disappointed here. They were serving a local brew that you can pretty much only get around Stratford upon Avon. Son was worried that it would be served warm as they like to do in England but the was served cold. Both the men really enjoyed it. It was a dark beer but not bitter. Service was good. A bit slow but so incredibly friendly. The restaurant wasn't very busy as we were there quite early so we had some time to talk with our server about the food and town.
