Much more salad in here than the one you'd throw off your kebab on a night out as they've got different varieties of leaf as well as tomatoes, gherkins, pickles and chutney. Just don't make the mistake that I did, and turn up just before they close -- their shutters come down at 2pm prompt so if you're hungry, or you plan to be, get in there quickly. The sandwiches, cakes are all amazing. Much better than the chain-shop SubMcFriedChicken up the road can do you for.

I know they are only a brand new business so there will be mistakes, but when I was asked to pay £2.60 for a sandwich which in the takeaway A4 menu is £1.60, of course I questioned it as I had brought the right money. The lady serving (new but friendly) took the money when I showed her the error, but then she told what must be the owner in the back and she came out and had a go at me! "You haven't paid £1.60 here before" to which I explained that I had been down three times the previous week and twice this week and had been chanrtged £1.60. "No, not in here you haven't" she demanded arrogantly!! I told her I paid that much yesterday, but she was having none of it. She told me that I never, before storming away in a big huff into the back. When Miss-Misery returned with my sandwich it was dumped (almost THROWN) down on top of the lower barn-door without a single word, after which Mrs-Grumpice stormed away back inside. For a really brand new business, the service I experienced here was a shock! A true disgrace. I suppose you tend to find this with some small businesses; customers are nuisence. Their 'chain' rivals would never permit this attitude from their staff to customers....because like me, they walk. There's no way I shall be going back in there. I do NOT support such terrible customer service!

The hot toasties here are to DIE for and their food is always the perfect mix of simplicity and indulgent flavor. The atmosphere is also super pretty there and when you sit outside you always get a good scene of people walking through the courtyard. I also love that you can get coffee, tea, and cakes on top of their sandwiches and salads! This place is a most go if you are stopping in town for any reason!
