My Dad was placed under their care for a month in December of 2023 and they were very accommodating. The facility was clean and the meals served were delicious. The staff and nurses were very helpful and kind. The staff truly cares about the residents. My mom has been a long term resident here for years and I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am for the caring staff and administration! They have annual picnics and Christmas parties- the staff really do care about the residents and I couldn't be happier with the care they provide. My mom has been wheelchair bound with dementia for years and she has no skin issues- which is a pretty amazing accomplishment . The nursing, kitchen, rehab and housekeeping staff as well as administration really puts their all into the patients, and I am a tough customer being an RN. This is a great facility. read more

My husband spent his last months here. I can not praise this place enough for the kindness , quality care, and compassion he experienced. I often arrived to find him holding a staff member's hand and speaking about his fears and hopes. He was always clean, and as comfortable as he could be given his illness . My young son was able to see his dad when appropriate as I determined. It was a difficult decision to put my husband into a nursing home but I have never regretted my choice. Sudbury Pines treated him with the loving respect I would have , had I been able to be with him instead of having to work. I hope if I ever require this level of care this place will be my son's choice. read more

Following a total knee replacement, I spent 16 nights in rehab/recovery at Sudbury Pines. I was in considerable pain from the surgery. The nurses, CNAs and the rest of the staff did everything possible to keep me comfortable. They were always there with ice packs, medications, or whatever was needed to help. The physical therapy staff were encouraging and helpful in my rehab and the nursing staff arranged my medication schedule to accommodate my rehab schedule. At best, I am a picky eater but if I did not like the meals provided, they got me something else. All I had to do was ask. I wasn't there long enough to take advantage of their social programs, but for longer term patients they have lots of activities. If I ever need care again, this is the place that I will go and I recommend it to my family and friends. read more

One of worst nursing homes ever. Total lack of patient care - buzzers either not answered or patient can not access buzzer. Lack of repair - broken toilet seat for YEARS, broken tv remotes. Lack of responsibility, owner, nurses, aides, most everyone. Owner fined by AG for bad septic system not fixed for OVER TWO YEARS. Finally fined this year. Owner, Roberta Henderson. Don't ask a question or make an observation. You will get - Oh, that's not right - That shouldn't happen - I'll call you BACK. NEVER HAPPENS!! read more

Sudbury Pines is a "Gem"! I placed both of my folks there for rehab a few times and ultimately for long term care when the time came. I was looking for a small 'family' place and not one of those corporate chain outfits. My doctor recommended Sudbury Pines. Both my folks were really complicated medically and required a lot of care. My mom was really sick and their Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner did an incredible job with her. The Physical Therapists got her up and walking, which was a miracle because I was sure that she was going to be in the wheelchair forever. When I would visit with them at Sudbury Pines, they were busy, happy and felt much safer and more comfortable than they ever did living on their own. Those incredible Nurses, Aides, Social Workers and Therapists had repeatedly gotten them home again and welcomed them back for the periodic 'tune-up' as my dad would say and took care of them in their last days with such compassion that I will be forever grateful. By writing this review, I hope to help others in the same circumstance to find their way to Sudbury Pines! read more

I wish I had read these reviews before sending my Mother to Sudbury Pines. It is a horrible nursing home! They are only interested in how much money they can extract from their residents, not in caring for them. They took advantage of us needing to move my Mother from Miami to Ma. They accepted her sight unseen but made us pay full price $333 per day to save a bed for her. This was for 3 weeks. I should of negotiated that price at the time but was so pleased to have a place for her near her Grandaughter that I didn't. Since they didn't have to provide, food, pull-ups or any care for her during those 3 weeks I've asked Ms Henderson, Administrator, for a partial refund. No way, all they want is the money. My Mother was there 1 night and I spent the next day finding somewhere else for her. I couldn't believe how dirty it was , the lack of care to residents, and the aggressive behavior of some residents. It was a scary experience! The only reason to leave your loved one there is if they are a smoker which I never thought to be something I needed to look out for in a nursing home. Stay away, it should be closed down! read more
