Well this is the answer trust me. We took the Murphy here when we went to California and at first he was a bit sketchy but once he was there he did not want to leave. It is a daycare for dog's the whole concept. Walking in it looks like the inside of a log cabin and you hang our leash in the spot with your dogs name etched in chalk. They have two large rooms for the dogs to socialize as well as an outdoor area for play time. Inside in a separate room there are large kennels and each dog has his own sleep space. Prices are really reasonable as it is $25 for the day or $35 for the night and if you stay a full week they bath them before he comes home. Now when we take Murphy we just tell him to go get John and off he goes right to the door, so cute. This place is a live saver and a nice way to enjoy your vacation knowing someone is with your dog..

The goal of working at Petstuff is for these folks to get permanent employment. I personally think it's a fabulous idea and it's what brought me to their store in 2009 for the first time. The employees at Petstuff are very sweet and kind. They love to help you out and always welcome a furry visitor. They've got a good selection of food, toys, grooming supplies, and everything else you could need for your pet. For people who are training for other work opportunities, I am always very impressed at how knowledgeable the employees are. They really do a fantastic job! I haven't had any personal experience with their groomer but have heard from numerous people that they do a great job. The pugs may be visiting that area of the business soon!

I have taken my dog to other places that seem like they are in a rush in Halifax and wanted someone who would trim my dog and give her a Springer cut, not just shave her short for summer. I like that he took the time to discuss what I was looking for. He did a really nice job shaping and trimming her ears and 'feathers' on her legs. Everything was blended nicely. My dog does not like the blow dryer and can be nervous but she was treated well, given treats and she was happy when I picked her up. We already booked for another grooming in their preferred program.
