We hated to leave them but so glad that this Creative World were along the same lines. The care and educational experiences my son has received is amazing. They have had so many activities where I myself am learning. Today especially led me to write this review not sure why I didn't do a review sooner but this day was mind blowing. First my son was talking about this day for weeks! He was genuinely excited about today. (I got to see why). Today 3 classes performed Culture Day and it was such an enlightening experience to see the kids representing their culture with flags, posters and traditional outfits. They brought in food items from their culture which was a plus to my palate. I am overjoyed with this facility and how they support these children. I am equally proud to say my son attends Creative World Oakstead.

This is the 5th place I've ever sent my kids and my favorite of the ones that were centers (versus home daycares). The director, Tiffany, is personable and friendly and takes an interest in the children and their families. My daughter's teachers Ms. Dawn and Ms. Carmen are very caring and on top of things, and communication is great. We always know what she is learning in class. They also do conferences so you know how your child compares and what his/her goals are for the year. As a teacher, I'm impressed with the curriculum, and never hesitate to worry about my child. She is happy, eager to attend, and comes home happily exhausted after a day of learning and playing. I'll be sad for her to leave and go to big-girl school!

Any time I had any concerns and I addressed it with the director Billie she handled it very quickly and never made me feel as if I was overreacting. The teachers communicated well at pick up everyday... especially Shawna. My son also did very well with Emma. I have recently relocated again and have considered putting my son back into this daycare the commute is the only hesitation for me, though I think I might because it's worth it.

The communication about behavior, upcoming events, academic progress and current and future learning objectives was clear and provided in advance. Turnover was low. My son had some slight shifts in the associate personnel that worked with him but for the most part his lead facilitators remained the same throughout the year. Payment was easy, it came directly from our bank accounts. Any type of price hike was communicated in advance to give ample warning (this happened just once during our tenure due to inflation). I am very confident my son is prepared for kindergarten thanks to his experience at Kids 'R' Kids.

They lack communication, professionalism and are extremely insensitive. If there are issues with your child that the school struggles with they will not communicate them to you until THEY have made the decision about your child's future. My biggest frustration is that leadership refuses to have the hard talks necessary. Instead, they just sweep it under the rug until they decide to make it go away. While I understand some children might not be a good fit for this school, that is no excuse for their overall lack of professionalism and communication.
