I appreciate what Nonie's doing and my kids had a great time attending her show. But we absolutely…read moredon't want our kids kissing the animals! The roaches?! I am so grossed out by this. My kids attend a summer camp where Nonie showed her animals. I was not there otherwise i'd have stopped it. I only learned later that day when my kids came home. Nonie you are introducing pathogens to the kids from the animals by allowing kissing, but you're also cross contaminating germs between kids when they are kissing the animals one after another. I just can't even believe you would think that giving children the option to decide on their own if they want to do this is ok. My son is six years old. Children are not old enough or mature enough to consent to such reckless behavior. At the very least, obtain parents' permission beforehand OR remove the kissing option from your programming entirely. We will not be participating in Nonie's Animal Encounters moving forward.

She kept 20 or more 6 year olds hooked through the entire presentation...no easy feat! They laughed, the parents laughed, it was awesome! It was a memorable experience for the kids to get to have the one on one encounters with such unique animals and reptiles! We used Nonie's Ark around 10 years ago for our boys birthdays when they were little, and her presentations are still just as entertaining and fun all these years later!! Definitely recommend her!
