When I walked in the owner (Courtney) immediately introduced herself and said we were the last appointment of the day! She walked through the store and picked out all of the dresses I liked. We had a handful to try on and every dress I tried on I liked more than the last. The selection of dresses were so beautiful and stylish. I already decided on a style and Courtney helped me find dresses that fit that. After five dresses we found the dress. The shop is amazing and has great lighting and a big stage with mirrors to see all angles. She also helps you find all your accessories and doesn't push anything on you. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I am so happy with my final selection!!

They have decently sized sections and the store covers several small buildings in the Willington "downtown." Each building has several cute little sitting areas to peruse your selections. They accept donations so this time we brought quite a few boxes with us. The prices are pretty great, with most books being $2 or less; there are some rarer or larger books that can be a little more. We always leave with something great! The employees/volunteers are always sweet and helpful, too.

We hated missing out on this Saturday's sale of any book for 10 cents! Rumor has it there is another sale in the summer! All the proceeds go to the upkeep of the historic buildings in Willington!

Well, wouldn't…read moreyou know it, but during the ice storm last weekend the blower motor decided to take a crap on me. I checked around and to my surprise I found this wonderful store in Greenwood which is about an hour drive from me. I called the day before I went and I spoke with a delightful young woman named Anna Davis and she said they had the part that I needed put my name on a list. Last Friday I went up there and I got my motor a new fan blade and a couple other little pieces and brought them back to fix my wood stove. Everything went rather smoothly except for when I tried to put on a cast aluminum junction box cover on the back of the fan. Because the old fan motor was smaller, I had to modify it significantly and unbeknownst to me during the modification and reinstallation I pinched a wire and blew the motor up! Today I called, which is exactly one week later, and went there to meet with Anna again and got a new motor. I came back home and put it in and everything is fine and dandy. It is quite a delight to have a business with people like her that are very accommodating and know what they're doing and they have all the parts for the wood stove that I need. I'll be going back to get some more things in the near future. I highly recommend this place, but I would caution people that if you need gas logs or wood stoves when is freezing cold and snowing is not the time to get them, They had people in there buying gas logs and wanting them installed that day which is not going to happen because there was a huge wait list. Regardless, it's a great store with great people who provide wonderful service

I had a Maytronics pool cleaning machine that needed a cable changed…read more On YouTube there are videos that show that this job can be done in less than ten minutes. However, removing the power cable requires a unique tool (thank you Maytronics!) and I thought that it would be easier to the let experts do this job. It took seven and a half weeks. Messages I left with Buck's Spa and Stove were not returned. Any progress on this project required me to make a visit to the store in person. And, to top it all off, when the machine was finally "fixed" it was reassembled with some of the interior parts missing.
