Well, I put them to the test and (sure enough) Mark's is running neck and neck, maybe with an ever-so-slight lead! I can't believe I'm uttering the words. The doughnuts were still pillowy and super fresh at 10AM-- That's one hour before closing, folks! I tried a twist (two of them actually) and a raspberry filled doughnut (and I usually hate anything-filled doughnuts--unless it's at Sweet Theory Baking Co. in Jax, FL), but I had to find out if I could be converted into a casual jelly-filled doughnut eater. If I could, this might be the place. Nope! Still not a fan, but it was good! I've got to (one day) wake up and drag myself in to find out how the 5:30AM doughnuts taste. I'm sure it's everything I'd ever want to imagine in Doughnut heaven. We stopped at this location since it was pretty close to our route AND they had a large parking lot to turn our RV around in. They actually didn't have a couple of cake donuts that my son was wanting, but the gal in the back actually took some plain cakes and dipped them for me!
